Have fun on our four new beach cruisers and two kayaks. There FREE of charge and included with your rental. Kick back in the large and comfortable orange lifeguard chairs. Take in the awesome views overlooking The Gulf of Mexico and Lemon Bay. Nothing but blue sky's and blue water everywhere. The Highview gets two thumbs up from the locals and is a great spot for star gazing in the evening.
Walk freely around the open floor plan and decks. There is high speed wireless internet, two bedrooms with high quality linens, and three flat screen TVs. Enjoy cooking your favorite meal in the fully equipped kitchen. The comfortable open Living room has a large flat screen HDTV, and beautiful Gulf Views. If outdoors is your thing you'll feel right at home here. Two new Weber grills and picnic tables nestled in shells. Wash your new found shells in the shell cleaning station, enjoy the enclosed open top outdoor shower with blue sky views or just sip a cool drink and be swept away by the lush tropical landscaping that surrounds the Highview.
Our lower floor may be available for larger groups or family reunions. Many family reunions and get together's are celebrated at the Highview each year

Great place, nicely furnished, more amenities than you will need, a convenient location, and breathtaking sunsets. The place is just far enough from local restaurants so you aren't bothered by noise, or foot traffic, but it's close enough so you can easily get a bite to eat, or a drink or two without going out of your way. The temperature of the gulf was perfect, warm enough to float in all day, but cool enough to be refreshing. Southwest Florida is an awesome place to vacation.

My family stayed at the Highview the last week of July. 7 people. We had both floors and it was an absolute dream vacation. Pete and Mary Jo provide everything you need for a stay on the beach. From beach chairs to snorkeling masks, umbrellas, towels, beach mats and boogie boards. The kitchens are fully equipped to make just about any meal you want. Full laundry. Picnic tables and grill. Outside shower that looked like an artist built it. TV's in every room and wifi throughout. Restaurants in the area were very good especially the Lock & Key which is right down the street. I can't wait to return.
On our vacation to do list was Rest, Relaxation and Fun this year. We have never been to Florida before and knew we did not want to stay in a regular hotel. With 1000's of condos to choose from, we accidentally stumbled upon this gem of a house and location. Every detail of the this property is well thought out from the inside decor, outside decor, beach toys, BBQ pit, outdoor shower, Shell Washing Station, Bikes, WIFI, Roof top deck that overlooks 360* of the neighborhood, beach and bay. You will not want for anything. Close to shopping and local restaurants, The property allowed us to take endless walks on the beach. We spent our last day snorkeling for sand dollars and finding the famous "Sharks Teeth" on the Beach. For those who want to play with the beach lifestyle and truly "Get Away", this is the property to stay at on your next vacation.

Rented The Highview site unseen only through pictures and do pictures say a thousand words. The minute we arrived, it felt like home. The accommodations were as stated, the view was and is spectacular. If you just want to relax and enjoy the scenery, the Highview is the place. The first day we arrived, there was a message in my email welcoming me and my wife to the Highview. Later in the day a surprise came to us - will not say what the surprise was as it would ruin the surprise. When I was reserving The Highview, I asked if there was a coffee grinder, Peter replied that there was none but that there would be one when we got there. Guess what, there it was one the counter. Peter and Mary Jo are excellent hosts. The amenities around The Highview are excellent for a beach area. We stayed a month (March 2011). A definite destination to consider when planning your winter get away. One last item. There is a new restaurant called "The Flounders" which serves a real mean blackened grouper....deeeeeelicious. Enjoy, c'est fantastique!!!

My husband and I took our two girls here for July 4th weekend and had the most amazing time. The house is incredible, the view spectacular. The bikes, outdoor grill and kayacks were a wonderful bonus that we took full advantage of. The view from the top deck was unreal and we we watched dolphins swimming at sunset. I would return here before ever consider hopping a flight to Hawaii - thank you so much! We will be back

My husband and I enjoyed the use of kajaks and bikes and drinks at sunset on the roof. If you like clean, as we do, this place is immaculate! Quiet neighborhood and easy beach acess. We met Pete and Mary Jo, the owners, who were very accomodating. Would love to come back. Nadja & Tim
