While they may not be that plentiful, Manasota Key vacation rentals are jam packed with luxury and amenities. This is a lovely barrier island just off the coast of Englewood in southwest Florida. Known for its pristine beaches, this island offers a sense of seclusion, with no traffic lights or high-rises. A single two lane road connects you to where you need to go, including many popular area restaurants.

The south end of this island paradise offers apartment living and multi-family Manasota Key condo rentals. Of course, an island as beautiful as this one has numerous resort accommodations, but why stay at a boring, over-crowded resort when you could relax in the peace and privacy of a rental home?

The most popular activities in this coastal city can be found on the beach. There are four beaches here, all within a short drive of many Manasota Key, FL vacation home rentals. The most popular beach is Englewood Beach, both of which offer showers, bathrooms and picnic areas. The community also offers a boat ramp and free parking. However, if you'd prefer to avoid the crowds and enjoy a nice nature walk on the sand, you may want to head to Blind Pass Beach or Stump Pass Beach.

If you want to get off the beach and into the crystal blue water, you might book a local cruise. These cruises are a great way to learn about the local area, enjoy some dolphin watching, or even enjoy a meal on the water. If you prefer a more active approach to your sight-seeing, you can charter a sailboat or go kayaking in the gulf.

Charlotte Harbor State Park and Myakka State Forest are also located within a short drive of many Manasota Key, FL vacation home rentals, offering opportunities for outdoor activities like camping, hiking, biking, and even horseback riding. This lovely city is also convenient to two top notch 18-hole executive golf courses. The Oyster Creek Golf Club lies only ten minutes away in Englewood, whereas the Pinebrook/Ironwood Golf Club sits about an hour from town. Both courses are open to the public.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all there is to see and do when staying in your Manasota Key vacation rentals.
