Description of the Manchester vacation home rental
This home has spectacular views of Cobbosseecontee Lake, one of Maine's Premier Lakes. This is the perfect home to enjoy all Maine has to offer with amazing views from the bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, study and living room. Relax on the spacious deck overlooking landscaped gardens with 180 degrees of water views. Barbeque on the deck or cook in the kitchen while looking at the lake from the granite counter top island range. The kitchen features plentiful beautiful hickory cabinets, double ovens, dishwasher, trash compactor, two side by side refrigerators (one in the entrance mud room), microwave. The kitchen has all the amenities and conveniences of home. There is a separate family room for the kids, a large living room with gas fireplace, big screen tv, stereo system and dvd player, with Dish Network satellite system. The dining room is surrounded by glass with great views of the lake.
Two docks for swimming and boating with mooring ball. The house is wired for wireless internet access, lots of movies and books for those quiet times and some games as well. There is a hammock down by the lake for relaxing by the water.

Cobbossee Lake is a great fishing, boating and swimming lake, with numerous islands, coves and places to explore. It is one of the top destination places for vacationioners who want a great lake experience but want to be in a central location to the coast, mountains. We are an hour north of Portland, 40 minutes to LL Beans, and close to the Theater at Monmouth. The house is very convenient to shopping, with two large grocery stores nearby, two mall areas near by, and one of Maine's premier golf courses less than a mile away, with tennis courts available. Plenty for all to enjoy within a short drive.
Cobbossee Lake is almost 11 miles long, with very clean water (it serves as a back up water supply for the city of Augusta). It is known for it's fishing and boating, having been a host for fishing tournaments for all of New England in the recent past. The neighborhood is quiet, but conveniently close to amenities you may want or need. You are only 6 minutes to the Interstate 95, 10-12 minutes to the center of Augusta, 6 minutes to the center of Winthrop, and 3 minutes to the center of Manchester.
