Great well-kept apartment in a fantastic location on a relatively quiet street but just a few blocks from Times Square.

We have finally received our deposit back. Regarding the apartment in particular, just say that when arriving to the airport they inform us that the apartment was not in good conditions and that thy have moved to a new apartment. The apartment was not so nice but it has two bedrooms (instead of one) and was closer to Times Square so no complains about that. Just remember to call them from the airport before you take a taxi to your designated apartment

One week after we left (and three unanswered emails), I'm still waiting to receive the information about when they plan to return the security deposit they asked when reserving the apartment.

This apartment, which we reserved with a deposit, was "not available" when we arrived. Instead we were put in a stinking, filthy dump two blocks from Times Square. In fact, this whole website seems to be questionable. My previous negative review of this apparently non-existent property was not posted - the website owners don't seem to care about protecting people from fraud. I will tell everybody I meet to NEVER rent an apartment through this website!!!!!!!!

We sent a deposit for this property, but upon arrival in NYC were told that there were plumbing problems. We were offered a different apartment instead. It was a dirty, smelly walkup two blocks from Times Square (an area we had purposely avoided when choosing a rental property). The morning after our arrival - having discovered the filth on the bedspreads at that point - we informed the manager that we were very unhappy and that we wished to see the property we had put the deposit on. (At this point, we did not believe that the apartment even existed - as the manager's story about his plumbing woes was very contradictory and suspicious.) We were not allowed to see the other property, and for the next three days were unable to contact the manager by phone. We finally fled in disgust, and had to search for a hotel room. We ended up spending $400 per night for that gross apartment, and had to spend even more for the hotel on top of that. Worst vacation experience ever!

Reconfirmed apt 3 times,over a period of 2 months,up to the day before arrival. Upon arrival was "overbooked." Given another apt on E48th,larger, IF we paid more. Owner"G" of that apt repeatedly entered without permission, removed furniture and household items, and yes,even a bed! while we were out. We are three adult professional women, left the apt cleaner than upon arrival. Very bad experience. Will not do business with JJ or G again! Visited over Memorial Holiday and Fleet Week--were stuck trying to find other accomodations at the last minute. Beware.

Although notified two days in advance of the time of arrival, upon arrival we found that the apartment was not yet cleaned and prepared. the representatives were still busy changing bedlinens. apartment was not sufficiently cleaned and we found dirty laundry in the closet. there was no second set bedlinens and towels available . there were no pots and pans to cook ( received only after complaint). the showercurtain was broken. this was not remedied during our stay although we reported this. the apartment itself lacks daylight and two light bulbs didn't function. For sufficient reading lights would have to be turned on all day long. Windows are very drafty. Air conditioning system is not controllable which makes the apartment either too hot or too cold. Especially at night it was often too hot.The heating pipe makes a terrible noise during day and night due to a broken valve? Although the location is very good, the apartment should be looked after better for this kind of money.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely little apartment. The location is excellent and the fellow who we dealt with was great! We will be back.
