Central to all New York City attractions.
Serene and upscale, the Gramercy Park neighborhood was named for the elegant one-square-block park of the same name created by Samuel B. Ruggles in 1831. Its clean streets stretch from 20th Street until the start of Murray Hill at 34th Street, and are bordered by the East River and Park Avenue to the west. The townhouses around the park, built before the Civil War, are among the oldest and most outstanding in the city, and many tend to be handed down through the generations. Highly desirable for its classic architecture and close proximity to fine dining and shopping, Gramercy Park.
The Flatiron District is bounded on the north by the triangular Flatiron building (known as the Fuller Building, which was built in 1902, at the corner of 23rd Street), goes south to 15th Street, extends as far east as Park Avenue South and west to Sixth Avenue. Union Square sits on the southern boundary of the Flatiron neighborhood. At the time it was built, the Flatiron building was New York City's first skyscraper, and thought not only to be the tallest building in the world, but also the first skyscraper ever created. Today the neighborhood is booming with abundant restaurants, shopping, and convenience.

We stayed here in July/10. This apt is clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this apt. The computer access was a great asset. April Moore

4 adults slept very comfortably in this lovely apartment and we were there for 2 weeks. The owner could not have been more helpful with tips on local restaurants and markets. With the subway near by and this central location it was easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. We would certainly stay there again. Having the internet available was a great help to find local restaurants and make last minute plans for live shows and movies. The elevator was certainly a convenience we did not expect but certainly appreciated after long days of touring the city. A great little apartment in a fantastic location.

The 4 of us just had the best time in this cosy, fully equipped apartment! We loved the attention that was paid to details and making sure we felt comfortable. I personally don't think we could have been in a better location, right in the middle of everything but somehow very peaceful and quiet apartment. We will definitely be back!

Liezl and Viet, We had the best time in New York. We were able to do what we wanted, which was theater, shopping, comedy show, cabaret, yada yada. It was so comfortable to come home to a quiet place to sleep, three separate sleeping places for us, and the ease of getting around the city with two easy access subway lines, the close proximity to Whole Foods and wonderful Farmers Market at Union Square, the ease to walk to a the lower east side and west side the village, I mean it was PERFECT. Can't wait to come back! DJ, Cathy, and Nancy

We stayed in this apartment for a week - and we loved every second of it. A very comfortable apartment, in a great location and with very hospitable owners. The apartment has everything you need - even the small details you haven't thought about, and it makes your stay even more comfortable. The area is filled with things to do - a block from the subway, 3 grocery stores, a beautiful park with the best burger in NYC, and just about 5 minutes of a walk to Union Square.

This was our first visit to Manhattan and we would recommend anyone to stay in this apartment. Viet and Liezl are most helpful and hospitable. The apartment is clean, well kept and very central and convenient for all areas of Manhattan. We always felt completely safe. There are good restaurants close by and the wonderful Wholefoods about 5 minutes walk away. Don't miss taking a look at Gramercy Square - there are some beautiful buildings there - also the Flat Iron building, not to be missed!

This apartment was perfect for our needs. It is in excellent condition, the kitchen is all of the equipment needed, the bedroom was very comfortable and our 2 kids loved the loft. It should be noted that it is a very low ceiling height in the loft so many adults would not be comfortable sleeping there. The apartment is small (but that is typical of NY), it is excellently located. There are really good restaurents just aroundt the corner, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again when we are in Manhatten.

Thank you so much for your hospitality. The apartment was so cute and in a very convenient and quiet location. It was nice to be able to come back after walking and sight seeing all day, and just relax. Also, thanks for all the helpful tips. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back someday. PS- We saved over $1000.00 dollars staying here versus the tiny hotel room we had originally booked!!!
Dear Viet and Liezel, We have appreciated your place, it was clean, good location. And we have appreciated to have other clean linen and towels during our stay (especially as the weather was very warm those days).
So thank you again, I'll surely contact you when I'll come back to NYC, as we do that almost every year, and will send your contact to friends who plan on being there.
Have a good week, thanks again,
All I can say is if this is your first start, you are off to a good one. I loved the extra little touches, of the ice cube trays, in cute shapes and colors.
Thank you once again for being such a good host and creating this lovely space. I am sure that there will be many more, who will come to enjoy it as we have.
