I booked a small studio in Nolita at the very last minute (the day before our reservation). Blair was out of town but answered my questions very quickly and arranged a local contact for our stay. Sara handled our check in and check out and was the nicest, most accommodating contact imaginable, giving us extra time to pack our things and allowing us to stow our HUGE luggage after our checkout but before we left. Aside from this, the location was fantastic and we loved walking around lower Manhattan for hours. The studio was clean, there were no bugs of any kind and the linens and bed were comfortable and clean. The only drawback was the bathroom facilities. They were clean and worked well, but the shower was tiny and in a corner of the living room (with a curtain and glass wall so it had some privacy. Also had good water pressure and temperature) and the bathroom was miniscule. For a short term stay this was fine and the service and price were more than enough to make up for it, but perhaps finding a way to make the bathroom a bit more...comfortable...might be a good idea. Also the kitchen had basic supplies, including some coffee and utensils so you can cook if you want, but there were so many good restaurants nearby that you wouldn't really want to. Basically, fantastic management and service, excellent cleanliness, excellent location, excellent transit (very easy to get to via subway from airport - a straight shot on the M) and a passable bathroom with a decent shower. In all, I would totally recommend this as a good place to stay in Manhattan.

Called at last minute for a short stay in nyc and got a great rate and a great place to stay. Clean well kept building with a doorman. Everything is within walking distance. I would highly recomment to anyone to stay here if your going to be in the new york area.

The 1 bedroom apartment was nice and accommodating but it's NOT the pictures your looking at. Linens and towels were less than adequate and other necessities (garbage bags, paper towels, hand soap etc.) are not provided as you would expect. Closets were filled with boxes and other items!!! not leaving much room for your personal items.

This apartment was great for our stay Over new years. The deli next door a wonderful surprise. Friendly doorman, great views from the rooftop. Battery Park, statue of liberty ferry rides. Bring your own essentials (paper products, towels, coffee filters etc)

The apartment was one large room which the owner told us before we rented it. There was NO t.v.channels unless you consider span.. but in the picture there is a huge t.v. There wasn't a wireless connection, however the owner after talking with her left us with a connection. Another draw back was the fact she left us with 2 towels for an entire week. The bed was un-made with linens on the bed. It did have great security, and beautiful views! It is in the heart of the finanical district and close to the subway station. We were not unhappy with the flat, but small things would have made this stay much better.

Fabulous apartment in Battery Park, overlooking Hudson River, good views of Ellis and Liberty. Unlike most NYC apartments, 3 big windows open to sky rather than skyscraper, and lots of room. Spartan (good!) and decent facilities. Subway 2 mins away for very easy access to major attractions, but a great escape from the bustle. Excellent deli next door gives cooked meals at most hours, if you're lazy. Owner very easy to deal with - friendly but totally unobtrusive (saw her first day but never again). Don't worry if her e-mails are often one word long, she did exactly as promised. That's New Yorkers for you. Highly recommended, and worth paying the slightly higher price than for some - much better value.

Intanto, grazie a Lori per la sua disponibilità: a causa di un nostro ritardo, ha aspettato il nostro arrivo fino alle 2 di notte. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana nello stabile di Battery park e l'area è eccellente; il condominio è elegante. Consiglierei l'appartamento (quello al 24mo piano) più ad una coppia. Per una famiglia di 4 persone è un po' piccolo.

My wife and I stayed there during the Marathon weekend, and absolutly loved it. The space is very convenient to multiple subways, Battery Park, and awesome views. Having such a wonderful place to stay truely made our weekend a great experience. I will defintely rent again from Lori. She was easy to get a hold of, honest, and upfront on everything. Thanks for the memories.

I ran into a last minute dilemma and needed a space to put some artists I'd booked and Lori gave me the most amazing deal possible. I'd never booked a vacation rental before so I was a bit skeptical and hesitant but I was blown away by how spacious, clean and comfortable the apartment was (and I wasn't even staying there)! The pictures really don't do it any justice. I got a chance to scope the place out beforehand and this was far better than any if not most of the hotels I'd stayed in around the globe and a fraction of the price! It's on the same block as the subway and there's a gourmet grocery store a few steps away with very reasonable prices. Lori is so accommodating and sweet and I'd gladly do business with her again.

We were three adults enjoying a four day visit to the Big Apple. This 21st floor apt gave us a GREAT location and beautiful vistas from which to explore Manhattan. Two minutes' walk to the Liberty ferry; the grocery store in the same building has prepared meals to take away, the building appears in practically every photo or postcard of the nyc skyline. "We stayed THERE!" you can say to your friends! Good price, good value. The sofa bed wasn't so comfortable, but the inflable mattress was great! The apartment lacks a few little things in the kitchen, like a toaster and dish towels, but overall we were thrilled to find this little treasure. "See you next time!"

The owner is an extremely nice person, and the apartment is absolutely beautiful. It was spotless when I checked in. Clean sheets, clean bathroom and kitchen, and gorgeous views of the Hudson River and Statue of Liberty. I highly reccomend this apartment to anybody looking for a luxurious yet affordable vacation in NYC.

We were very pleased with the apartment on first arrival. It was everything we had pictured. Lori was true to her word. There were a few things needed along the way and the response was timely. This was the perfect location and had amazing views. The aparment was clean, warm and cozy. I have already recommended this location to friends and family.

I hope my review can do the apartment justice! We were let down by another owner at the last minute and Lori completley saved the day. Her reponses were very quick, We naturally still worried after what had happened but these worries were completely unfounded! The apartment was amazing: lovley decor, large,immaculate and out of this world views even the lobby was wonderful. The area was terrific too. New york is an amzing city full of hustle and bustle but returning to the apartment every night was like returning to a peaceful oasis. I really can't say enough about our experience and to top it off Lori was so accomodating with our flight times. I have already recommended this place to loads of people and will continue to do so. Thnanks again Lori- we will definitely be back!

What a great apartment for our 1st ever stay in NYC (2 adults and 2 children). With the MTA on your door stop you can be anywhere in the city in minutes. Certainly would use again and highly recommend it. Thanks again go to the owner for advice on the sights to see.

What a great time we had and what a great apartment. This was the first time we stayed in the city anywhere other than a hotel, and it exceeded our expectations. The apartment was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and the views of the statue of liberty and the NJ skyline were incredible. And thanks again for accommodating our extra needs. We've already given your number to one of our friends here in Florida.
