Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

This studio is located in a classic Upper East Side brownstone between Lexington and Park Avenues. The apartment is located on the fourth floor.
The building has a small elevator suitable for one person at a time.
The apartment is a spacious studio with a full separate kitchen area.
The living room is equipped to sleep four people with 2 queen size beds. There is a high speed internet, flat panel TV with DVD player and a large dresser. The room also has a 2 large storage closets. The floors are wood with dark inlaid trim. There are three windows facing the street.
The kitchen is includes a 4-burner stove with oven, toaster and coffee maker. There are all of the basic kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans.
The bathroom has a shower/tub, w/c and sink.

The apartment is located in a quintessential Upper East Side brownstone on a tree-lined block. Nearby on Lexington Avenue is the subway service at 68th Street. There is also plenty of shopping on Lexington Avenue including delis and groceries. Further East on 2nd and 3rd Avenue there are plenty of restaurants and to the west on Madison Avenue there are all sorts of Luxury retailers.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights, the owners/managers were very freindly, helpful and answered any questions we had about how best to get there from the airport etc! Apartment was clean and had exactly what we needed and they also had no problems allowing us to stay till 4pm the day we checked out. It isnt a very central location, but a lovely area and only $15 in a cab from Greenwich Village, close to a metro stop and loads of shops etc around. Thanks very much for a great stay, we will be back!  more...
