Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

Hi. We have a basement studio in private house with private entrance, kitchen and bathroom for rent; we are in Staten Island, right by the ferry to Manhattan. It's nice and safe area, with one of the lowest crime rates in the city. Ferry rides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the ride is free. The apartment was built very recently, it's nice and fresh. We provide sheets, towels, cofee, fruits.

Area Description

we are in historical part of New York city known as Port Richmond. The apartment is located within 5 min walk to Staten Island ferry which runs to Manhattan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Very affordable rental for travelers who wish to keep the room/board cost low. Starts at $70/night per person, and increase $10 with each addition ($80/night for 2, $90/night for 3...etc.). Max no. of people is supposed to be 4. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Basement is spacious enough for up to 5 people, but ceiling is not ideal for tall people (6'2" or more). Also, bathroom is compact size with a shower stall. Kitchen has most of the needed utilities. TV, but no cable. Wireless Internet available. Close to Staten Island ferry, but the ~25 mins boat ride only take you to the southern tip of Manhattan. You must still take the subway or bus to reach your destination. However, the view from ferry makes the trip worthwhile.

If you're looking for luxury and fantastic views don't stay here. However, if you want warmth, cleanliness, comfortable beds, a powerful shower and value for money this is the place. Beware if you're tall, not much head room! 10 minute walk from the free ferry which runs regularly and takes you into lower Manhattan.
