Our experience at the Landmark was better than expected. The location is superb - just a couple of blocks away from many restaurants. The apartment is roomy unlike most hotel rooms and the hosts are charming and quite knowledgeable about the city. Can't wait to get back so we can stay here again.

Comfy beds; no kitchen sink. "Kitchen" is mini-fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Nice bathroom and shower. Great restaurant downstairs and all along 46th. Near Times Square, Midtown. Ideal for family, two flights up steep, crooked stairs. Historical charm. Would recommend for family or two couples. We, a couple in our late-40s stayed four days with my parents, who are in their mid-70s and traded for the bedroom after two days (just to be fair--the beds in the Living Room are comfy. Might even stay again next year (depending on the size of our party and my folks ability to navigate the stairs). Also quite near Port Authority terminal.

The Landmark Property was a wonderful place to stay. It was located so close to Times Square and yet hidden amongst lovely delis, a perfect combination for any stay in Manhattan. The property itself was great for 5 people with beds that folded away during the daytime to create lots of space. The historical elements of the apartment were fantastically explained by the very friendly landlord who greeted us upon arrival and was very flexible to our needs even supplying us with a key to the side door so that we could come and go as we pleased without walking through the bar. Three of the other people that i satyed there with ate in the restaurant downstairs and reported that the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly. All in all an excellent property to stay in and somewhere that I will definately be visiting again in the not too distant future! Thanks to all involved.

The place is great, and the owner is very attentive. Excellent and well located. Times square, circle line trips, etc, you can visit almost the main great spots of NYC within a walking distance.
