Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Manhattan, New York
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in New York and part of that was due to the apartment we stayed in. It was conveniently located to a range of subway lines, close to attractions, supermarkets, clean and very comfortable. Size was perfect for two people - I'd recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in New York.
This apartment was delighfully sunny and bright with good views, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished, in a quiet, well-kept building in a great area, close to all transit, Central Park, numerous restaurants, supermarket, and more. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed comfortable, with good heat and ventillation, convenient internet access. Our experience with our host was excellent. She was helpful as to what to expect, readily provided references, and returned our deposit promptly. I missed having a "house" phone as our cell phone was not working well. I wasn't comfortable eating at the counter on the stools. but these were very minor concerns and I will stay here again in a New York minute!
Very bright - huge windows on three+ sides. Top floor of tallest building on block so good distance views. Super convenient and easy 15 minute walk to Lincoln Center and Great location, 1 block from A,C,E lines and in the other direction the 1,2,3 lines and Central Park. Clean, comfotable and quiet. Owner is a pleasure to work with. I hope to be able to return to this apartment.
I stayed 9 days! Everything eas perfect for me: the location (esay for the Met), the view, the rooms and bed (very comfortable), Metro station almost round the corner. Full of light, warm, makes you feel at home! I'll return every time I'll be in NY !! Thanks Abby!

This apartment was our home away from home for a month, and we couldn't have asked for better accommodation! The place is located within walking distance to some great eateries and restaurants (the UWS branch of Magnolia Bakery and an awesome Japanese restaurant called Tenzan at the end of the street, to name a couple), plenty of boutique shops and also Central Park (the Strawberry Fields memorial is at the 72nd St entrance).
The apartment is small but well furnished, and windows on all sides ensure that it gets plenty of light. A fully equipped kitchen meant that we could store groceries and cook proper meals on those few nights that we weren't out and about!
Access to five different train lines (both local and express) meant that it was extremely easy to get to just about everywhere other than the east side - although transfer stations are only a couple of stops away, so it isn't too much of a hassle.
We would definitely consider staying here again when we eventually return!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment is in a great location for the subway, shops, restaurants & more; it is well furnished & has everything you need, the bathroom is quite small but adequate; We would recommend this apartment
The apartment is so close to everything and so very well equipped that we would certainly go back to this unit, if available, on our next visit to New York. We were easily within walking distance to Lincoln Centre,Central Park and a major Metro terminal including Express trains. Shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. A great neighbourhood and a bright apartment. Loved it!!!
This was an excellent opportunity for me to stay in the n'hood I grew up in while visiting with family and friends. The location is great for all subway and bus connections. It was great to shop at the Fairway Mkt. on B'way for provisions. Beautiful city views abound. Although it wasn't PERFECT, I would gladly stay here again.
