Newly Refurbished 2 Bedroom Ground Floor Apt (#33438)

Write a review I highly recommend this apartment. Great location - close to Subway, grocery store, laundry. Beautiful apartment - our family of 6 was very comfortable and felt safe in the apartment and the neighborhood. Incredibly helpful owner - fridge stocked with breakfast and lunch foods, water, and more, maps and brochures, very knowledgeable about tourist sights, how to get around, and a really nice guy. John went out of his way to help us, even driving us to the airport when our car didn't show. This was our first time to rent an apartment instead of staying in hotels. It was nice to be pleasantly surprised with a product and service that surpassed expectations. The house was nice, convenient to the subway, and stocked with some supplies. John is honest, and very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. What a great place for a first stay in N.Y.C. My wife & I stayed there with friends. Please read and believe all previous comments on this safe & secure apartment, owners , area and local people. Making the reservation was easy, Rose the owner was there to meet us, the fridge was full, the bedrooms and lounge comfortable, back garden to relax in for the last hour or so each evening .. it just goes on! Advice on using yellow cabs from JFK was correct --- $45 plus $5 toll fees ( same with Harlem cabs going back ). Bus stop and underground nearby. Buy a $7.50 all day pass at the underground station to use either underground or bus otherwise it's $2.00 a single trip. Rose - I can now recommend the local Indian restaurant / take-away around the corner on 3rd. what a lovely appartment 2adluts and 3 chrildren fridge full ham,water,bread.butter tea coffee ect the host rose,john could not do enough for us they are amazing people the aera was lovely easy to find we will be back We booked one of the apartments for new year’s eve time. Making the reservation has been very quick and easy since the owners have been very nice and helpful since the beginning. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservation because of an unexpected family problem and, also in this circumstance, the owners have been the nicest people ever. They sent us a full refund of the deposit the day after our communication of annulment. Thank you owners, If we'll make it to come over next time, sure, we’ll ask for one of your apartments!! 6 month in advance we booked this apartment in Harlem, and service/ information prior to our arrival was fast and accurat. With great anticipation we arrived with our 4 kids. The apartment was really nice, clean and had all the towels and bathroom articles no hotel could ever do better. In the kitchen there was already fresh fruit, cold water, and coffe,the & some snaks etc.. When you arrive after 12 hours traveling with 4 kid´s these things makes a difference. Beds are great to sleep in, and the internet is fast and easy to access (wireless + cable) The appartment is very close to the bus stops and the subway, and we used both every day until 11:00 in the night, we talked to people in the area they were very warm and friendly. We highly recommend a visit to the local Gospel churches in the area. Fantastic expirence. We absolutely recommend it. My wife , and 2 friends stayed here , we found it excellent , very quiet , a fab garden to sit out in the evening to relax, Lots of space , it was an old style railroad apt they refurbished, so it runs all the way from front to back.All new appliances, but seem speole eat out as they were hardly used, we will be back We rented this appartment in Harlem for ten days. This appartment is situated in a very quiet part of Harlem, supermarkets and grocery's very nearby. Our landlord was very helpfull, when we arrived (in the evening) everything we needed was already there (water, coffee, bread and ham). We were very suprised that this appartment was complete (very good shower!!). The people in the neighborhood were very nice and helpful. We had a very good time in NY and recommend this accomodation to everybody who wants to visit NY (it is a very nice appartment in a quiet part of Harlem). John and Rose, thanks for everything. Ivo and family regards from Holland. We recently had a family reunion and four of us stayed at this apartment. There were roses, water, fruit, coffee and other necessities waiting for us when we arrived. The landlord was very helpful in steering us to local eateries, etc. Nicely furnished and well kept with a great back garden area. Definitely a bargain. My only problem was that with a bad leg it was a bit of a walk to the subway and there was not too much in the neighborhood to do. Although the subway that is the closest is a major stop from which you can go anywhere. The neighborhood is much quieter than what I've experienced in Manhattan before in SOHO. If you are willing to spend some time on transportation this place is a real gem. excellent accommodation with a variety of quality shops and services locally. easy access to downtown manhattan. great attention to detail and sunny enclosed backgarden for outdoor relaxation. caring and attentive hosts. would highly recommend this accommodation and definitely intend to stay there again when next we visit new york. This apartment was the best choice we made. It had everything we needed including water, some snaks and fruit. It is very close to the bus stops and the subway. The owners are very nice and helpful. We totally recommend it, if we go back we`ll definitely stay at the Moloney`s apartment. Thank you for everything. El departamento fue definitivamente una muy buena opción, al llegar encontramos todo lo que podríamos necesitar además de agua y snaks. El departemento tiene buena ubicación para poder tomar metro o autobús. Los dueños son muy accesibles y amables. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!! Si tuviera la oportunidad de regresar elegiría el departamento de los Srs.
