Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

The apt is a newly refurbished two bed room , on the ground floor. The main bed room has a queen size bed , the next room has two single beds , the living has a pull out sofa.
From front to back its 65 feet long. Each room has plasma cable tv , it also has internet access, a phone for local use.
There is a back garden
to relax and for smokers. The apt is very quiet , the building is owned and managed by Rose my sister. There is also a second apt on the same floor ,, so it is possible for two families to rent both and share the back garden.
Every thing you may need is in the apts ,, all towels , linnen , we leave milk , juice and bottled water in the fridge.
We welcome people from all countries and all walks of life , do come and enjoy the big apple. This is very good value.

The location is on 120 street which is between 2nd ave and 3 rd ave , about less than one hour from JFK airport.
The block is very quiet, and the owners have been here for over 20 years.
all shops , laundry are only a block away.
there is good choice of retaurants in the area . The bus route is only a block away. The subway and metro north can be got at 125th street on lexington,, about 7 blocks.
Some excellent shopping can be found on 125th street,, all the big names are there. if you over do the shopping , there is
a shipping company right next door , and they also provide storage .

My wife , and 2 friends stayed here , we found it excellent , very quiet , a fab garden to sit out in the evening to relax, Lots of space , it was an old style railroad apt they refurbished, so it runs all the way from front to back.All new appliances, but seem speole eat out as they were hardly used, we will be back  more...

 

 Nice and clean place to stay (and nice landlords), May 12, 2008

We rented this appartment in Harlem for ten days. This appartment is situated in a very quiet part of Harlem, supermarkets and grocery's very nearby. Our landlord was very helpfull, when we arrived (in the evening) everything we needed was already there (water, coffee, bread and ham). We were very suprised that this appartment was complete (very good shower!!). The people in the neighborhood were very nice and helpful. We had a very good time in NY and recommend this accomodation to everybody who wants to visit NY (it is a very nice appartment in a quiet part of Harlem). John and Rose, thanks for everything.  Affordable and homey, April 27, 2008

We recently had a family reunion and four of us stayed at this apartment. There were roses, water, fruit, coffee and other necessities waiting for us when we arrived. The landlord was very helpful in steering us to local eateries, etc. Nicely furnished and well kept with a great back garden area. Definitely a bargain. My only problem was that with a bad leg it was a bit of a walk to the subway and there was not too much in the neighborhood to do. Although the subway that is the closest is a major stop from which you can go anywhere. The neighborhood is much quieter than what I've experienced in Manhattan before in SOHO. If you are willing to spend some time on transportation this place is a real gem.  more...

This apartment was the best choice we made. It had everything we needed including water, some snaks and fruit. It is very close to the bus stops and the subway. The owners are very nice and helpful. We totally recommend it, if we go back we`ll definitely stay at the Moloney`s apartment. Thank you for everything. El departamento fue definitivamente una muy buena opción, al llegar encontramos todo lo que podríamos necesitar además de agua y snaks. El departemento tiene buena ubicación para poder tomar metro o autobús. Los dueños son muy accesibles y amables. Lo recomiendo ampliamente!!
