Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

This 2nd floor apartment is one flight of stairs up, facing a beautiful, sunny, quiet, tree-lined street. There is a full refrigerator, and half size stove/oven. I have provided linens for the bathroom and sleeping area, and utensils, pots and pans for the kitchen. The apartment comes with a queen size bed, ample closet space, and a standard, three seat couch that can sleep one (remove the back cushions for a twin bed size). Additional furniture provided is a dining table with chairs, a desk and a dresser. There is a flat screen television, 300 channel cable television and high speed internet for your use (computer not provided).

Area Description

The apartment is located on East 84th Street off of 2nd Avenue, in the heart of the UES. It is close to a host of famous restaurants, lounges, comedy clubs and bars. It is also blocks from both Central Park and "Museum Row." There are a multitude of boutiques, specialty antique shops, and antique stores for shopping in the immediate neighborhood. There are several supermarkets a few blocks away that will also deliver if you choose to cook in house. The 4, 5, 6 subway is a four block walk away. In addition, there are plenty of buses that run down 2nd Avenue into lower Manhattan. Taxicabs are plentiful in this neighborhood so transportation is never a problem.
