Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

A beautiful, two bedroom luxury apartment on the seventh floor-doorman/elevator building-building only 3 yrs old!! This apt. has excellent natural light and a very large terrace with a gazebo with a BBQ and kids splash pool, outdoor toys too. It has the most amazing outdoor space you will find in the city-complete with blooming flowers and a small veggie and herb garden. You can have all the convenience and excitement of the city AND all of the outdoor living space to relax in the cool evening air!!! The terrace wraps the corner of the building on the north and west sides and provides for some really great views of the city during the day and at night.

There is a queen size pull down bed (murphy bed) and a small desk/office area in the master bedroom and a twin loft bed and a twin bed in the other room- with a gigantic closet full of toys. A crib can be available for families-please let us know ahead of time to make the arrangements. An airbed can also be made available for 2 more to sleep in the living room area as well. We have also had many use our patio cushions to sleep under the gazebo and/or night sky on beautiful nights. There are two full bathrooms as well.

Air-conditioning throughout and portable fans in each room, very large windows, and did we mention the huge terrace!!!! Cotton towels and bed linens, and fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Cable TV and HBO available, 42" plasma screen tv!!! Wi-fi available bring your own laptop though (and let us know so we can give you the access code), but no telephone (we only use cell phones these days-sorry). Also--washer and dryer included in the apartment, and free! So pack light, save yourself the extra bag charge on your flights and wash your clothes here-in the apartment-free!!!

Smoking is acceptable on terrace or in front of building, but not inside the apartment. Pets are negotiable and children are welcome (we have two!). We just ask that you are mindful of your noise levels and that you are respectful to our building and neighbors. And we KINDLY ask you to please be sure to NOT throw anything (including cigarette butts, spit, etc... off the terrace). Use the ashtrays provided and flush them at the end of your stay.

There is also a sundeck on top of the building for more amazing nighttime/city lights views-if you can't get enough of your own private outdoor space on the terrace.

Area Description

Amazing posh Upper Eastside area-very close to Central Park, Carl Schurz Park (where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were photographed with thier children last year!), historic Gracie Mansion, the East River Esplanade, the Metropolitan and Guggenhiem Museums, Madison Avenue and the subway(which can take you everywhere else). As well as super easy access to crosstown buses and express buses to downtown. We are next door to the Courtyard Marriot Hotel, our building and the Hotel were built together. Take a look at their prices and perks and you will realize, we are a much better deal!! And because we are next door, there are always many taxis coming through to pick up passengers and we have easy access the the FDR to make going back to the airport and very easy and non-stressful. We can even help you arrange car services if needed.

This is NYC-you can find and do almost anything you desire within your budget!! Everything is only minutes to just a couple of hours away!
