Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental
Come visit and enjoy our lovely 2-bedroom high-rise apartment in the heart of New York City's Upper West Side. Spectacular views from the terrace. Lots of light and plants, very cheerful. Beautiful sunsets over the Hudson River. The apartment is not the largest 2-bedroom that you will find in New York City, but it has more than enough room for a renters to be very comfortable as you can see from the photos. The apartment is very clean and nicely decorated in a quiet and conservative luxury building, with 24-hour concierge, security guard and doorman.The building is centrally located on Manhattan’s West Side. One block from Columbus Circle and the new Time Warner Center. Two blocks from Lincoln Center and Central Park. Whole Foods Market, great shopping, restaurants and sidewalk cafes. Walking distance to Broadway’s Theater District. Close to all public transportation. Very safe and beautiful area. This is a private home and therefore we prefer neat, clean, conservative-minded guests. This apartment is available for 5 people wishing to have separate sleeping areas! Couple,single, friends, families etc allowed . No smoking. You will be very happy with this apartment and location!
Area Description
The area is known as heart of New York extending south from 104th street to meet the neighborhood at 105th Street. On Third Avenue you can find some lovely restaurants, a few bars, delis and grocery stores Four blocks from the EMPIRE STATE building. Macy's, the biggest department store is few blocks away from the apartment. May we suggest few restaurants around the area: - Artisanal Fromageries and Bistro 2 Park avenue (try their lunch special for $25, pure French tradition) a cheese lovers place. - Rare Bar & Grill 303 Lexington Avenue - Ali Baba Turkish Cuisine 212 East 34th Street (my favorite half block from the apartment, for $9.99 lunch special you get one main course and one entry, between the "babaghanoush" the "tamara" or the "homous" to start kebab chicken or lamb and much more served with rice and salad...) - El Rio Grande Restaurant 160 East 38th Street - Sarges Deli & Restaurants 548 3rd Avenue - English is Italian 622 3rd Avenue
