Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

Room just upgraded to include a high def TV and cable access to 100's of channels including the sports channels and several premium movie channels. Now you have more choices. You can relax throughout the apartment or stay and be entertained in the privacy of your own room.

The rental is for 1 BR in a 2 BR apartment, with nearly 1100 square feet of living space. And the best part is you can stay here as cheaply as you stay at a local hostel and, no doubt, more cheaply when you factor in all the extras included here.

Some things to consider:

* great neighborhood with a true NYC neighborhood feel that most tourists never get to experience.

* many fantastic ethnic restaurants and eating alternatives just steps away

* within 2 short city blocks of NYC's unparalleled mass transit system. You can be in Times Aquare in 15 minutes.

* full kitchen for cooking in if you want to cut on eating costs

* full living room with HDTV and 100's of channels to choose

* room enough to exercise to the on demand exercise programs so you don't get out of shape here.

* 2 bicycles you can use free of charge to try getting around as we do and exploring the city in a different way

* free use of computer with internet access and capability to use your wireless laptop to access the internet

* wonderful supermarket just around the corner and a rite aid just up the block

* clean and well maintained pre-war building. Apartment is a top floor corner with exposure on 3 sides! The building is 6 stories tall and is serviced by an elevator.

Keep in mind that the common living space (bathroom, living room, kitchen) is shared but you do have the option, if available, to rent the entire 2 BR apartment.

The bottom line is you won't be disappointed here. A great place and a great value!!!

This is Sunnyside Gardens which is just East of neighboring Long Island City and the borough of Manhattan. Sunnyside is a fabulous residential enclave and is closest to Midtown Manhattan of all the purely residential communities outside Manhattan. Most places in Sunnyside would be a good choice, however, the sections North of Queens Blvd. are generally
more desirable. The section North of Queens Blvd, known is Sunnyside Gardens, recently earned Landmark status for its unique set of characteristics. There are numerous ethnic restaurants and eateries and a glut of supermarkets closeby. Prices are steeply discounted here over the prices you would find in Manhattan so you could literally save
hundreds of dollars on a vacation in this area. The apartments are pretty spacious and have architectural appeal. As you travel East from Sunnyside(away from Midtown) you will find Woodside, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Rego Park, Forest Hills, and Kew Gardens among several other Queens neighborhoods. Sunnyside Gardens is a quiet and safe neighborhood and truly has the charm of the New York City neighborhoods of years ago. If you want the most of your New York City vacation, Sunnyside Gardens is a great place to stay!!!

We traveled with a baby (7 mth). And everything we needed was there. Luis and his sun Cris are very nice people. Locatios is realy nice and 7 line goes directly to Manhattan:) (15-20 minutes). One more time thanks!!!!

Me and my girlfriend are just back from a 6 week stay at this property and it was outstanding. Its in a great area with lots of places to eat and things to do, it has great and quick access to Manhattan via the train and there are plenty of supermarket around. As for the apartment it was very spacious, the kitchen contained everything you could possibly need, the living room is big with a huge TV that has cable and the entire place was spotless. The owner Louis was a fantastic host and even took us on a bike tour of New York on the bikes that are in the apartment which was an incredible was to see the city. I could not recommend this enough to anyone visiting New York.
