Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Manhattan, New York
Great location, close to subway, a fresh market for coffee, snacks and organic wine, and a historical park made from old train rails. Charming area, historical architecture with cobblestone streets mixed modern urban fusion.
Our bathroom had a skylight and the room was renovated nicely. The mattress was very comfortable and had a nice soft cover. It felt very clean and better than the photos. We picked up plastic cutlery to use when making simple sandwiches in the toaster oven. The view from our windows felt quite private, and we felt comfy keeping the curtains open.
Night time in the trendy district was hopping, and it was convenient to have a restaurant & bar for late night drinks just downstairs! The mornings were absolutely perfect for sleeping in, quite and no noise from NYC traffic due to the nestled location. If going to sleep early, it was noisy with the surrounding bar music, but the host left complimentary ear plugs which worked fine.
We really appreciated the host's flexibility with our check in/out times. Overall, a very pleasurable and convenient NYC experience.
Thank-you!!
Perfect location and reasonable rates for an exciting stay in Manhattan. Very clean and comfortable studio, Comfortable queen sized bed, crisp white linen and fluffy white towels, roomy bathroom, adequate kitchenette, (some of the best cafes and restaurants are across the street) well serviced by all the "hot" shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, Chelsea galleries. Short walk to the subway, A really happening exciting location. We would definately stay here again. As with most Manhattan apartments, earplugs are a must for a comfortable sleep. Thank You for a great stay Paul.
I stayed 10 nights there and had the time of my life. Studios are impecably clean and may be the best secret of the Meatpacking. Location is truly superb. While it really can be a little noisy given the crowd that invades the Meatpacking every night, its nothing that an earplug can't handle. The owner is great and was extremely flexible and accomodating with my off hours check in/out request. Loved it all and will surely be back!
The studio was perfect Exactly as promised. It can be noisy every night of the week, so earplugs are not a bad idea. The Meatpacking District is a great place to stay. The unit was only 3 blocks from the subway. I only wished that the TV received some of the movie channels, or anything rather than basic cable.
Our first stay in New York made easy by such charming hosts, conveniently located in a exciting vibrant district. Can be a little noisy at weekends but the hosts are quite open about that it almost adds to the charm.Rooms are clean and well apointed and beds comfortable,if you had any negatives it would be that there wasn't a iron.
