Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

Our beautiful loft is located in Chelsea Midtown,on West 27th Street beween 6th & 7th Ave. It is approximately 3,000 square feet (278 sq meters). It's the whole 12th floor. It has a great view of the Empire State Building and is located on the top floor of a 'locked elevator' building, only we have access to the 12th floor. It can comfortably sleep 4 people. There are two large bright skylights in the loft. We have 12 ft high ceilings.

You enter into a private hall from the elevator. Then into the loft that has an open plan - a very spacious living room, which is very bright because of the 6 large windows. There are three sofas in the living room with a very large glass coffee table. In the dining room there is a large wooden dinning table with 6 chairs.
The loft is filled with beautiful art, antiques, plants and lovely furniture. It is fully furnished in an elegant way, and yet it's a warm and comfortable modern space.

There is an open kitchen right off the living & dining room, two steps up. It is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, a microwave, a gas stove and a dishwasher. Oak cabinets hold all the kitchenware. An oak table that sits 4 for dining in the kitchen.

There is a separate master bedroom, it has a new queen-size bed. A very large skylight in the bedroom. Full of light which spills over into the lovely bathroom. A large walk in closet. There will be enough closet & drawer space provided.

The master bathroom has white tiled walls and contains all the bathroom necessities: a bathtub and shower, sink and a toilet. The bedroom skylight shines into the bathroom. Towels & linens are provided, and a hairdryer.

The studio/2nd bedroom of the loft is a large 800 sq ft separate studio space which is also used as a second bedroom, there is a new Murpht bed with a new queen size mattress, also a queen size & double size sofa beds. There is another very large skylight in the studio with a large oak window wall looking into a private office space. We have a beautiful oak wood library & a lovely sitting area in the studio. 5 very large windows lite the room.

The guest 2nd bathroom is a complete bathroom with a shower.

For your convenience, there is a laundry room with a double sink, (full size washer and dryer) in the loft, an ironing board with iron. There are large ceiling fans in every room.
There is cable TV in the studio, bedroom and kitchen, DVD, CD & VCR players in the studio also. There is Broadband Internet service with wifi too. Just bring your laptop with you.

Chelsea has become the new, coolest neighborhood in Manhattan, yet remains comfortable without too much noise and too many tourists. Great shopping, markets restaurants, coffee houses, cinemas, off-Broadway theater, Chelsea Piers Sports & Recreation complex, and a diverse nightlife. We are walking distance to Greenwich Village, Lower Fifth Avenue, Penn Station, and the Hudson River. The Loft has very easy access to subways & buses with the 1, N, R, F subways all within a 5 minute walk.

• Other Fees: $425. per night rate is for 4 people - $50. per person per night extra - maximum of 6 people. $500. to $1000. security deposit depending on rental time. Refunded after the loft has been inspected. Due in cash on arrival. $125.00 final cleaning fee due in cash on arrival.

This large well appointed midtown apartment was extremely well located for traveling quickly to either end of Manhattan. Supermarket and restaurants are close in adjoining streets. Banks were just around the corner and local coffee shops handy. The apartment is very large and feels very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and laundry. Being on the 12th floor gives you a relatively quiet hideaway in an extremely busy city. The owners were very kind and helpful and lovely to deal with and were only a phone call away if you needed any help or advice on any NYC matters. I think the advertised rundown on the apartment well reflects the property and what it offers and personally I had a very enjoyable stay here.
