Great place, Great location

My partner and I stayed at the apartment for two weeks over the Xmas, New Year period. On arrival, Alex greeted us and showed us around. The apartment is in a quiet area, across the road from Battery park, which is on the southern tip of Manhatten Island. It has a 24 hr doorman, Elvis, who was very helpful and the lobby is quite inviting. The apartment building has a good gym, good laundry facilities, is well heated and has an outstanding deli/shop at the bottom. We found it to be an excellent base for exploring NYC. It is a little out of the way, which enables you to escape the hustle and bustle somewhat. It is very quiet and has a comfortable bed. The apartment itself is very well fitted out, with a good size studio and very good kitchen and bathroom. The apartment has TV, cable and very good wifi. The heating is also very good. The apartment is a 2 min walk to the Bowling green subway which links well into the subway system. The apartment has an excellent roof top viewing area, with lovely views of the statue of Liberty (whereby you should buy your tickets online and collect from the non-three-hour-wait, line). Overall, this apartment allowed us to have an outstanding NYC experience in comfort and with ease. The building is very friendly and we definately felt as if we were truely getting that New York apartment feeling. We strongly recommend this apartment.

We spent 5 amazing days in NYC, the owners Susan & Alexander are very kind & the apt is beautiful, spacious, decorated nicely by Susan. High recommendable for a nice vacations. Downstairs the building has an a gourmet store (zaytuna), very good food.

We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment, the owners are very nice, the appartment is clean with lots of space. Also the facilities are great, with a nice roof top (view on Hudson River and Statue of Liberty), laundry and fitness studio. Can recommend this appartment to anyone.

Stylish comfort

Spacious and stylish studio apt with full (& fully stocked) kitchen on Battery Park was our perfect love nest and base for exploring Manhattan. Convenient b/c all train lines converge there. Gourmet grocery and DR drug store downstairs add to convenience. Excellent Italian restaurant across the street (Gigino) was a plus. Great views and lovely vibe on the roof deck. The apt itself was quiet and comfortable with interesting artwork and soft, plush linens. The owners are lovely and accommodating. We will definitely be back again!

Little Gem in Lower Manhattan

It's a beautifully decorated and very well equiped Studio in a luxury building with a Gym and a Roof Terrace with a beautiful view. Only a few steps away from the ferries to Staten Island and the Liberty Statue and to the Hudson River and its very nice parks and running trails and 4 Subway stations nearby. We had very nice landlords that always gave us the feeling, that, even though they were not in town, they would always be there to help us if needed. There was no need to, since everything was well organised. We enjoyed it a lot and would always stay there again! Very good value for your money!!

Great apartment in Lower Manhattan

We spent a wonderful week in New York. This apartment was great. Beautiful located near South Ferry, Battery Park and Financial District. Local transportation next to the building. Busses, the green and red line in the direct neighborhood. Apartment was clean and comfortable as described. Lovely decorated and fully equiped. Especially in summertime you can enjoy the roofdeck on the 25th floor with beautiful view on the statue of liberty. We will come back.
