Area Description

Visitors should take a stroll between Ninth and Tenth Avenues and see the Greek Revival architecture. Shops, fitness clubs, and restaurants along Eighth Avenue cater to the region's burgeoning gay community. Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Avenues feature a conglomeration of immigrant history, grocery stores, and one-of-a-kind boutiques.

We were four ladies from Ohio celebrating their fiftieth year on earth by travelling to NYC. The girl we rented from was also from Ohio around our area and this made us comfortable with our choice of place to stay. The apartment was very near the subway and was in a pleasant neighborhood. We had a great time and would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to visit New York. (The king sized bed with two feather beds on top was very comfortable even for three old ladies! The other in our group slept on the twin lofted bed which was also comfortable.)
