Dan and Meredith, the people who handled the apartment, were a disaster. They never answered the phone, even after we left messages on their voice mail. The cleaning lady did the check in, and told us that if we had a problem with the heating (which didn´t work) we should ask Saul at the pizzeria downstairs. Seriously? The apartment was dirty, like no one ever cleaned underneath the beds in their entire lives. The door to one of the bedrooms didn´t close, the washing machine didn't have a handle, so you had to be Mc Gyver to open it. We had asked for a crib, which wasn´t there, we were told they would bring one later, which didn´t happen. The website never mentioned it was two flights of stairs, and above a nail salon and real estate office. We didn´t get a receipt for any of it, and they even charged us 100 dollars for a late check out. Internet didn´t work either. And they didn´t even leave toilet paper in the bathrooms. A real dump. The only good thing, the location. And that´s it.

This apartment looked great in the pictures, but when I arrived it was filthy, there were garbage bags in the hall, place had not been vacuumed or swept, the bathrooms are very dirty. It needs a very good professional cleaning. The beds had missed matched sheets on them, and the kingsize bed did not have kingsize sheets, there were no hangers and half of the lights were burnt out, and the property mananger said that she could not reach them, and it was freezing cold and she said that the piza place controled the heat, they did not the heat was controlled in the apart. They have no hand towels or wash cloths and we had to buy paper towels and toilet paper ourselves. The property managers never answer their phones and one gave us the wrong number, I guess she did not want to talk to us. All this place needs is a really good cleaning some decorative touches and some matching linens, hang the pictures on the walls instead of just laying them against the walls, replace some light bulbs, turn up the heat, add a few things and the apartment would be great. Oh and the washer and dryer did not work either. I considerd offering my decorating services to fix up the the place for them but I am not sure that they are interested in fixing it up. Great location but we would not stay there again unless it was cleaned and fixed up. To bad because we are five women who love New York and will tell alot of other women who come to New York. Let me know if you want me to fix if up for you

When we arrived the apartment had not been cleaned after the previous renter. The cleaners did not come until we complained and did not finish their job until 7:30 p.m. They neglected to clean the downstairs bathroom and we found feces on the toilet seat there. The clothes washer did not work properly and the dryer and the wi-fi didn't work at all. Three door knobs and locks had to be repaired as well as one toilet. We had been promised three sets of keys and only received two sets. Two days later we received the third set and some repairs were made. We were promised a refund because of the inconveniences that we had experienced. However, they did not bring the refund as promised and didn't answer the phones when we called repeatedly. Only after we threatened a lawsuit did they bring the refund to us that they had promised. On the other hand, the location is excellent and with a little care and attention the apartment would be a lovely place to stay.

The apartment was spacious and clean. In a great area as well. Andrea was accommodating and great to work with. I highly recommend this place!

The property was very close to central Park. That was very nice. It was large and spacious. However, the listing said it had internet access, but didn't. The kitchen was not fully stocked... missing pots and pans, dish cloths and glasses. Upon arrival, I put this to the renters via email as well as by phone, but never got any follow-up from them. The washer door was broken thus hard to open. What's worse, the dryer did not work. We were traveling with kids and hang drying clothes throughout the apartment was not practical at all. The overall cleanliness of the place was debatable. There was an ant problem in the kitchen. There was no closet space save for just one of the rooms. The other available storage space was packed with all manner of knickknacks and boxes. A part of the leather couch had a huge gash across the seat. Lucky NYC has so much else to offer.

This flat was wonderful, Much more then we expected for our group of 10 people. Close to Central Park and a few meters from the subway station makes getting around very easy. See you next year !

Estuvimos en este apartamento varios dias junto unos amigos,la casa esta muy bien equipada y distribuida,ahora en invierno con la calefaccion la temperatura de la casa era muy buena. Jean,el propietario es una persona muy amable y muy implicada en que sus inquilinos tengan todas las comodidades y no les falte de nada! Sin duda recomiendo esta casa y disfrutar de esta zona que es perfecta para caminar a central park, y el metro esta a una cuadra.

This is a comfortable, quiet apartment. Close proximity to great restaurants and shopping. Very clean. Owners are helpful and always available. It worked out great for us! Would return again. Thank you

"Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'appartement de Jean Pierre et sa gentillesse. L'appartement est vraiment proche de Central Park et des musées. métro très proches,supermarch pas loin, et nous avons beaucoup aimé le quartier. Bref un excellent séjour."

It was terrible. Extremely dirty and extremely noisy, low heater or broken - one bathroom not very accessible - Please do not choose this apt, it is not at all gorgeous as described.

we stayed here for Thanksgiving week and loved the space. The apartment was clean and well furnished. Easy subway access and tons of great shops and restaurants in close proximity. Thanks for the extra baby bed

It is very large and would be great for 2 couples with kids. It is not the best for 3 couples as the 3rd and 4th bedrooms are very small. The neighborhood is great and convenient to the subway. There is no view. It was very clean, but the kitchen is not very equipped. We did not have wifi access as the cable modem did not work. All in all it worked out well for the last minute deal. Planning ahead I would rather pay a little more for something nicer with a view.

Excellent space and the apt is really big. Two very large rooms, two are smaller and the kitchen is well equiped. The entrance does not look that good but the apt is well located and silent during the night.

I travel to the city and always stay in vacation rentals. Usually a small place this place was like my house ! I had 8 people stay here and felt right at home. Super Close to central park, and the subway is just a block away ! Highly recommended !!!
