Area Description
The West Village is hands down the most beautiful area of downtown to live in. Small, curvy, tree lined blocks, tons of shopping, restaurants, bars. Close to everything, about a 5 minute walk from Washington Square Park, Union Square, The West Side Highway Walkway and Park. It is really beautiful and at the same time super fun. I'm a 30 year old artist, and I have lived in NY for 13 years. I've lived in almost every possible neighborhood downtown, and this is by far the best possible situation.
You can pretty much find anything in New York City, and the West Village is a particularly wonderful place to call your home base while on your vacation!
It is both beautiful and convenient!
