The center of Midtown West is Times Square, where the constantly flashing neon lights (some many stories high) are the beating heart of Manhattan. The area is certainly always alive with activity.
Midtown West is home to the world famous theater district. The Paramount, the New Amsterdam and the Belasco are some of the many theaters of Midtown, where the most impressive concentration of live theater in the world is offered.
South of Times Square you can find the bustling, business oriented Garment District home to Madison Square Garden (basketball), and Macy’s department store, they bill themselves as ¨the grandest department store in the world".
We're just a 7-minute walk from the waterfront on the Hudson, just south of the Intrepid and Circle-Line Cruise boats and just North of the beautiful Chelsea Piers Sports Complex, boasting everything from bowling and golf to a Carousel and a romantic picnic on the sprawling green lawn.

Very clean, very homely retreat from the hussle bussle of New York. Very safe with 24 hour doormen. My children felt special here and so did we.

We found the apartment very comfortable and clean. The two owners, Jim and Sarah, were very nice and gentle to us. Beds were very comfortable and the showers very pleasant! The location is very central, close to subway and to interesting restaurants. Best shops are around for good and convenient shopping. We highly recommend this apartment for a nice staying in the heart of Manhattan.

Warm and friendly spacious apartment. Very clean. Full kitchen very convenient. Our family stayed here for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and it was a great place to call home and escape from the holiday crowds. Safe neighborhood, courteous doormen. Easy walk to Times Square, very close to subway. Great little deli downstairs and lots of neighborhood restaurants on 9th Avenue. True taste of NY living experience without hassle of hotel crowds. I would highly recommend this property. The owners are very nice too.
