I was a bit hesitant to rent a private apartment, but that feeling was quickly erased upon entering this place. If you've ever stayed in NY, you know how small a hotel room can be. This apartment is Spacious!!! You have your own kitchen and a large bedroom with a fantastic view of the Empire State building. The kitchen and living rooms both have the same fabulous views. The apartment is on a high floor in the most happening neighborhood in NY. If convenience is what you're looking for, this neighborhood will provide it. You will be in very short walking distance to a block that has multiple subway lines extending in every direction. A cab to Broadway will only set you back $10 in rush hour. We walked down to the Village easily. The neighborhood is full of good restaurants, art galleries, gourmet markets (to stock your fridge) and anything else your heart could desire. So if you're looking for all the comforts of home and a key location in NY this is the place to stay. Our only regret was that we only had a week there!!
