***WARNING! SCAMS ALERT!***
Watch yourself for the latest scams flooding the Internet and the Vacation Rental industry!
Travelers describe a consistent scam pattern taking place recently. here is simplified version:
-Random properties owners had their personal email address compromised (hacked).
-When travelers inquire on this account, the scammers are sending out an email with links to different properties, pretending to be the owners in an attempt to solicit payment from unsuspecting travelers, offering them attempting "deal" if they wire all the money upfront.
Please follow this warning in order to avoid any possible scam associated with my property:
YOU SHOULD NOT DEAL WITH ANYONE "REPRESENTING" THIS PROPERTY OTHER THAN AYALA (MYSELF).
I am not associated with any other sites other than Tripadvisor (FlipKey) and Vacation Home Rentals.
Both are trusted and verified websites. Do not reply to unsolicited emails regarding this property!
Scammer's will hacked random properties from legitimate sites/owners and will reply with "special" rates and unreasonable payment conditions. DO NOT send any money via Western Union!! it will be gone forever and you will not have a place to stay!
Here are few tips on how to recognize a scam/suspicious property:
-Ask the owner to inspect the place prior to renting by a local relative on your behalf. notice his reaction. if he's avoiding showing you the place in person, than it's a scam.
-Scammers most likely will require large amount or the full balance to be wired via Western Union so you're unable to track it once it was sent.
You should only send reasonable amount and NEVER USE WESTERN UNION FOR ONLINE TRANSACTIONS! same apply for bank transferring.
-The scammer will assure you the place is available while the calendar shows otherwise. In most cases there will be no calendar at all.
-The nightly rate will be unreasonably low, a specially for NYC's standards.
-Ask for their direct contact numbers, referrals & emails of actual guests who stayed there recently & left reviews.
I'll gladly provide each guest email to verify their authenticity.
Most importantly, Stay cautious and follow your instincts and common scenes.
Short walking distance to Washington Sq Park, West village, Union Sq, fashionable SoHo district, chinatown, Little Italy...
Conveniently located for many of Downtown Manhattan's sightseeing, activities and entertainment.

We coundn't have had more pleasant experience than this. We found Ayala's apartment in this site and based on very good reviews we went ahead and rented it. Ayala was so nice since the first online contact. And did every possible thing to make our staying confortable. The apartment is very good located, as is near Soho, West Village, Union Square, Chelsea, either walking, or using metro or in a few minutes cab ride. But more important is the apartment itself. It is cozy and confortable and it was a great home away from home to my family. We are a family of 4, and it was confortable for everyone. Since we got a very cold wheather , we stayed home a lot and this confort made the difference. The place is very well equipped and -very important! - beds are new and good. Thanks Ayala to make our time in NYC so enjoyable!

This apartment was absolutely wonderful. The building was beautiful, the doormen extremely polite and Ayala was just fantastic to work with. We will absolutely stay at the apartment again. The pictures are exactly what the apartment looks like. All of our NYC friends and family who visited were impressed with the spaciousness of the apartment. We loved the convenience of having Union Market grocery downstairs. It was the perfect location with easy access to all the attractions Manhattan has to offer. We received a prompt refund of our deposit the day we left. I also appreciated the stack of awesome take out menus in the kitchen as I wasn't feeling well and needed food delivered. Ayala's policies are the most customer friendly of all the apartments I researched before finding her. She was prompt with replies to any calls, texts and emails. The apartment was also stocked with any extras we may need just in case - eg a few bandaids, sugars, spices, dish soap, hand soap, body wash, etc. We had 4 people including my mother in law and 3 year old son. There was plenty of room for my son to play and the adults didn't feel crowded at all. It is a great neighborhood with cool restaurants and bars. Thank you, Ayala, for such a great experience!

We visited NYC on the first week of December 2012 and it was a great experience. We were lucky to stay at Ayala's house because it was cheaper than a downtown hotel and far better. The apartment was really great, so spacious, so clean and fully equipped. We were looking for a nice, clean and wheelchair accessible house (that was necessary) and finally we were more than satisfied! The neighborhood was also very convenient, with bars, super markets, shops and very close to bus and metro routes. Ayala was also very nice, very helpful and professional! It was a great experience, highly recommended! Thank you Ayala !

This apartment is wonderful. We stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas 2012 and NYE 2013. The Lower East Side is a really interesting area and an easy walk into SOHO, Greenwich Village. It is very close to the F train which is a good line for going up town and connects conveniently to a number of other lines. The wifi was quick and reliable. There are heaps of really good restaurants & bars in close walking distance and a number of fresh food markets and shops for self catering. There are clothes washing facilities but we used the cheap & good laundromat wash & fold service in the next building. Along E Houston St you can get to either the East River or the Hudson for running. The apartment itself is roomy, clean, comfortable, and light. There's good heating. The kitchen facilities are good and there's a dishsher. One of the bedrooms is on the street side and picks up some street noise at night, but the other bedroom doesn't get any of that noise. We were meant to arrive at 2pm in the afternoon but our flight was delayed. The owner was great and was happy (genuinely) to meet us near midnight when we finally arrived - we thought that was above & beyond & got our holiday off to a great start.

We are 2 couples from Scotland that recently spent 8 days in this apartment. We had never visited New York before and were not too sure of areas. We had a long list of places and things we wanted to see and do. This area worked well for everything. We were able to walk almost everywhere and also the transport links were great and very easy to follow. Ayela was very welcoming and helpful and left us with lots of helpful information. Any other queries we had were answered by the helpful 24 hour security men in the building. We felt very safe there. We had wanted 2 full bathrooms and this was not easy to get at a reasonable price as space in New York is at a premium. However this apartment was very spacious and comfortable. If we ever manage to get back to New York we will try to rent this apartmenbt again for its space and convenience. I would also recommend it to friends. Booking was also very simple and any queries answered for us. This place would also be great in warmewr weather as it has great outside space.

After two months of travelling and staying in questionable hostels and cheap hotels, we were very much looking forward to this apartment. Our goal during our stay was to get the feel of what it was like to truly live in New York for awhile. We were tired of hotels/hostels and honestly wanted our 'place' where we would could relax and be comfortable. That is exactly what we achieved in this apartment. It was clean, large, close to transport but with fantastic stores/restaurants within the local area. It was the highlight of our trip. Ayala was welcoming with fantastic communication prior to our stay, we felt at ease with her immediately at our arrival and should we return to New York, we would definitely be booking with her again.

We spent one week at Ayala's in August 2012. The appartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen is well furnished. It was very practical not to have to buy the salt, vinegar, washing products ...just for one week. The two bathrooms are very practical for a family with 2 teenagers ! The shampoo, toothpaste etc. was at our disposal. It may look like a detail, but it was as well very appreciated. We also enjoyed the quarter where we felt secure. It's very close to many places and very interesting by itself. Finally, we had a very warm welcome by Ayala who was very friendly and gave us many advices to make our stay as good as possible. Thanks to her !

We were all so pleased with the clear and professional communication prior to our arrival and during our stay. From the beginning, the booking process was prompt and smooth unlike other owners amateur responses (if at all..) We all know that renting a place unseen requiers a certain faith in the unknown so the professional nature of the booking gave us confident, along with the great things has been said by other reviewers. We were warmly welcomed at the time agreed upon and were given a short orientation by Ayala. Everything was available to us and was true to its expectation. We settled in right away. The apartment was so spacious, very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed from cable tv, Internet access via wifi , hairdryer, towels, kitchen supplies and even a list of attractions. The supermarkets and subway are literally less than 5 minutes walk and the restaurants in the area are endless. Everyone we met were so warm and welcoming, even the doggies in the elevator! This was amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a real taste of NYC living with the added bonus of a great reliable landlord. Thank you Ayala, for being part in creating great memories.

My wife and I and another couple rented the condo for almost 3 weeks in May. It looks like the photos but is sorely lacking in so many areas. Although it had been "cleaned" we spent over a day cleaning the grime that had obviously never been touched in a long time. The kitchen was exceptionally dirty. We tried the self clean oven and the super came up to complain about the smoke. The fridge had brown lines of old food in the door pockets. The floors around the cupboards were greasy. Although the kitchen was "fully equipped", it lacked enough dishes for 4 people, no toaster, coffee maker, tea towels, etc. The closets have little room for clothing as they are filled with the owner's storage materials. The closet in the 2nd bedroom cannot be used as it is locked. There were only a few hangers available for our use. Ayala did provide some extra mugs, hangers, and towels when we asked for them. Several of the blinds in the livingroom are broken while the ones in the 2nd bedroom are tackup moving blinds that do not block out any light. One of the windows is badly broken and held together with masking tape. It was so noisy in the apartment that we rarely had a good night's sleep. Every morning at 7 am the jack hammers would start outside as they have been tearing up Houston St. for several months. Then the hammering from the neighboring apartment would start as they were remodelling. We had to have all the airconditioners units on full because they could barely keep the apartment cool enough. I had a look at the filters in the units - they haven't been cleaned in a long time. Probably that's why they were struggling to keep the temperature down. It's nice to have a patio, but it is very noisy to sit outside because of all the construction and the general noise of being in the East Village area. Would have liked to use the umbrella, but the pin for keeping it up was missing. Inside the apartment there was only one long old couch for sitting other than a bench. The couch has seen better days and is very uncomfortable as there is no support for your back. Thankfully there are pillows. On the plus side, the location is excellent for access to the subway, stores, etc. The master bed is comfortable and there is lots of room in the apartment. The door men are wonderful. Ayala seems nice too but it's the apartment that was imporant to us. Interesting that most of the ratings talk about Ayala or the neighborhood, but not the apartment.

We booked this appartment online in February for our trip and Ayala could not have been more helpful before we arrived. We were given transfer details and had a car company recommended to us. On arrival we were met at the apparment and given keys and local information. The appartment was clean rooms as described on the website and its location for the underground was ideal. With Katz deli almost opposite, meals in were ideal and the neighbourhood felt very safe. We would have no hesitation in booking the appartment again when we come back to New York and would recommend it to friends travelling also. The Paypal deposit payment gave us a feeling of security and also the answers given to our e-mail questions before arrival were a great help. Thanks Ayala.

We spend one of our best lifetime days on this apartment with our family. The apartment is fantastic and comfortable and is your home just seconds after you arrive. The location and the neighborhood are great. The home-audio equipment is superb! (bring your ipod in the house, and enjoy your music as never) Thanks, Ayala, for your attention to all details, your overall care and your 24hours support and help.

We were fortunate to book this fabulous apartment so we could stay in Manhattan for the week including our wedding weekend. Even though we arrived late for our meeting time due to NYC traffic issues, Ayala waited for us and explained everything we needed to know. We actually live in near-by Brooklyn but staying here was a true vacation! Everything was as presented accurately in the write-ups and pictures. Ayala answered our initial inquiries speedily, establishing a warm and helpful connection. The apt is exceptionally well stocked, making meal preparation a breeze. (Not to mention that it is only a short walk to the Whole Foods grocery store so eating at home on the patio was even more fun than going out to restaurants!). The subway is close by, and the apt is in walking distance to really interesting neighborhoods, so it was such a comfortable place to stay. Additionally, the doormen were all extremely polite and helpful. We will definitely be making future trips to Manhattan from the neighboring borough of Brooklyn in order to stay at and enjoy this special, bright, comfortable, marvelous "home away from home" .

It's hard to ask for a better holiday in NY! An apartment perfect, sunny, with everything you need to spend in a New York real home our holidays. The location is ideal, apartment is at the crossroads of 4 neighborhoods, a walk and you find yourself in SoHo, West Village or Little Italy. Ayala is a wonderful person, full of kindness and care. We could not find anything better: thanks again!

A BALCONY in NY, what more can you want? The condo is as described and better. Spacious and clean amd warm, close to everything. Ayala ia like a friend so informative and accommodating. Great security in building. Well stocked kitchen, great furnishing. Will stay thre again and I hope soon, if she is not all booked-up already. She is all up-front and real.

We stayed at Ayala"s apartment on E. Housten St (pronounced Howston - if you want a taxi driver to find it)) for a couple of weeks over Christmas and the New Year. Ayala was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is located in the hustle and bustle of the East Village. It is spacious and has every amenity. It is only a short walk from good coffee (Bluebird cafe - say hello to Alex the Australian owner), restaurants (Freemans; Eds Lobster Restaurant), fresh food and groceries (Whole Foods) and the subway (F line to either Brooklyn or uptown Manhattan). It is only a couple of subway stops to Brooklyn where we spent time seeing the sights. We suggest breakfast at The Milk Bar (also owned by Alex), then walk to Juniors Cheesecakes (the best in the world - try the Original - oh so moist and vanillery. My wife recommends the apple cheesecake) then on to Pacific Heights (fabulous old buildings) and a walk along the Promenade for great views of Manhattan. You must not miss the pizza at Lucali in Henry St Brooklyn. The chefs grate and cut all the fresh toppings (who can remember seeing capsicum being sliced to go onto the pizza you are about to be served?). It is BYO so take a good bottle of something with you. No bookings so you need to get there at 5.45pm for a 6 pm opening. You should probably walk home across the Brooklyn Bridge to burn some calories. The apartment is only a block from the Katz Deli. We intended to go but it was so busy and the guys who control the crowds so loud and pushy - we decided that this wouldn't be an enjoyable dining experience for us. I'm sure if you don't mind being herded like sheep you might enjoy the food here. We found many other delis with great food and laid back service. All up we had a wonderful time - and picking this apartment was a good choice. We would not hesitate in going back. Thanks Ayala.

Rented this appt for a week in dec 2011,And i could not have chosen a better place to stay,The appt was just as the photos show it to be,Alaya the owner, was the warmest friendly person you could meet and was very helpful with anything and everything you needed to know. The appt is situated in the lower east side and is the perfect location to explore NY city, either by bus, subway or as we did on foot (you get to see much more this way). The area is very safe for tourist's and the building within which the appt is situated is also safe and secure and has 24hr doormen. The appt itself has everything you could need on holiday,a fully functioning kitchen, two bathrooms,a very comfortable lounge area with t.v and cable, dining table and a terrace, which was great for watching New Yorkers go about their daily lives!. I would highly recommend this appt to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in NY,as it is in a superb location,is cheaper than a hotel,is safe and secure and just an allround great place to stay. Book it you will not be disappointed ! P.S Make sure you go up to the roof garden for great views of Manhatten,Great for taking photo's of a great city !

Very nice place near to everything in East Village. Subway two blocks away, Line F. The appartment is comfortable for two couples.

We enjoyed a week in this well-appointed, clean and spacious apartment. Although we have rented in Europe on many occasions, this was our first time in the US. Two bedroom-2 bath apartments at this price are hard to find in NYC and you will have everything you need. The compact kitchen is newly done and fully equipped (more knives than we've ever seen!). Host Ayala Hen was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. She does not tire of answering questions prior to arrival or on arrival. The doormen are friendly and helpful too. The East Village neighborhood is lively, with plenty of restaurants and a Wholefoods close by, not to mention Katz's famous deli. The subway station (F line) is just a block away. We highly recommend this apartment!

We were two couples visiting NY for 19 days and this appartment was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Since we were staying for a long time, comfort was our main concern. The apartment is beautiful, light and clean with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and fully equipped with everything we needed from linens and towels to hair dryer, alarm clock, cable tv, wifi and kitchen appliances. The location is great, there's a 24 hour diner and a dely right next to the building, there's the best supermarket ever a few blocks away: wholefoods and we were just a few blocks away from great restaurants, clubs and the 2nd avenue subway station. The owner Ayala is the sweetest, checked us in at the scheduled time and explained everything leaving her phone number in case we needed anything. The building has a beatiful roof with an amazing view and a team of doormans always ready to help. We had the best time and look foward to staying there again!
September 27, 2011
My friend and I stayed here for a week and a half and the apartment really helped make the experience!! You are right in the middle of everything with everything East Village has to offer! The rooftop view was a big plus! The apartment is very large with modern appliances and decor!! I couldn't have imagined a better place to stay and will definitely be staying there when I come back! Ayala was very helpful and understanding..
September 5, 2011
This is a very good apartment, very clean, in a good location. But it is right beside a 6 lane major road, so noise was a bit of a problem. Ear plugs fixed that for sleeping. The owner is very helpful very friendly. I would recommend this apartment, but just prepare for and manage the noise.
August 2, 2011
We have just spent 8 nights at this apartment and had the most amazing time. The apartment itself is modern, spacious and equipped with all mod cons and gave us a real New York experience which you would miss staying in a hotel. The East Village is such a trendy area with no shortage of funky bars, cafes and restaurants. The subway is extremely close as is the supermarket and a great shopping strip along Broadway. Little Italy, China Town and Soho are all walking distance also. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and made our arrival and departure so easy. The doormen are also lovely and really look after all guests and residents. I would highly recommend this apartment and look forward to staying here again when I’m next in New York!

I miss this place so much! The apartment provided us with everything we wanted/needed during our stay in NYC. The East Village has a lot of different types of restaurants so you will never go hungry. Bars are also aplenty. The subway (F train) is only 2 blocks away. Soho, Chinatown are a short walk away. Whole foods supermarket is about 3 blocks away so if you're on a budget you can pick up some great stuff there. The apartment has all your everyday needs including all cooking utensils. With two seperate bathrooms it's great when sharing with friends. The doormen are very friendly and the people in the building will always say hello. Don't forget to check out the view from the top of the building. Great for beating the 4th July crowds. Looking forward to coming back someday.
June 11, 2011
I really enjoyed my stay at the apartment. It is spacious, comfortable and well-equiped. The living room is huge, the beds are comfortable, the decor is really great. And there is enough privacy if you are 2 couples travelling together, as the bedrooms are located far from each other. The neighborhood is also a plus. Not touristic and close to restaurants, Whole Foods, subway. I definetly recommend it. And don't miss going to the Tenement Museum when you are there.

Just came back from my second staying in this amazing apartment and the experience just gets better and better. Well located, spacious, clean and fully equiped, it starts to feel like home! Speacially with the new bed in the second room. As I said before, can't think of a different place to stay next year... May 2012, here I come!
May 15, 2011
This is a great 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 large flatscreen TV and balcony w barbecue apartment in the 'real' NY. 5 min walk to trendy shopping in SoHo. 2 min walk to subway. Numerous restaurants and bars nearby. Groceries (best is Whole Foods) and liquor stores within 1-2 blocks. 24 hour doorman. Safe and clean but still among real New Yorkers and not only tourists. Ayala is a very friendly and hospitable hostess. Would glady stay here again and recommend to friends!
Los Angeles, California
April 5, 2011
We are 2 couples from Los Angeles. This apartment is conveniently located in a "real" neighborhood in the East Village. Walk out the door to lots of great restaurants, bars and walk down to the East River Park or take the subway anywhere you want to go. The rooms are large and comfortable, 2 separate bathrooms fostered the privacy for 2 couples to comfortably share an apt. We hung out and re-grouped in the living room. The large screen TV, comfy couch, and free WIFI were a hit! Great ethnic food steps away, the doormen were so nice and helpful and so was Ayala. Our friends left after a week and for our last 2 nights, we moved to a hotel in mid-town, bummer!! Wish we would have stayed at the apt. If we ever return to NYC, which we hope to do.. we would definitely return to this apartment.
March 25, 2011
We stayed in Ayala's apartment for a week in March and I can't recommend it enough. I've been to New York a lot, but have to say this is the best location so far - right across the road from Katz's - a must visit as far as I'm concerned. We were close to everywhere we wanted to see in lower Manhattan and could easily hop on the subway just a block away when we decided to venture further afield. Having a terrace to sit and enjoy the sunshine on was also an added bonus. Ayala herself couldn't have been more helpful, giving us tips on shops etc nearby and allowing us to leave our luggage and pop back on our last day, when we should have been checked out, but weren't flying until 11pm. Overall I would definitely recommend this place - very comfy beds, a great sofa and make sure to head up to the roof for an amazing view of the city and to see the statue of Lenin that adorns the top of the building! The whole process from booking to checking out couldn't have been smoother and I hope to be back soon.
March 6, 2011
The apt was better than we were expecting and the photos were accurate. Great location for a true NYC experience. Best Cafe's are 8 small blocks away plus great grocery shop 1 block uptown. Best shopping is 10 mins walk. Best coffee is 1 min walk. Subway 1 min walk. I thoroughly recommend this location and the apt is neat and funky. Thanks!
February 15, 2011
This property on E houston was absolutely gorgeous. Me and 3 friends stayed there for.the.weekend. Ayala was wonderful and so hospitable. Katzs deli was amazing as always as well as the great nightlife in the area. Will definitely be staying here again very soon.
December 15, 2010
the ayala apt. is the best place to spend a vacation in ny !! we have been there for 3 days and we had a great time in the house and in the village, Ayala is the perfect housekeeper , kind and serious !! not easy to find with all the scammers aroud !! thank you , we'll came back
December 6, 2010
We had a very nice stay in the apartment. It is as it look in the pictures. Ayala was very kind and she help as with everything. The surroundings were safe and full of restaurants. I completely recommend it.
November 23, 2010
We are 2 couples who recently spent 8 days in this apartment in mid November. The apartment is comfortable for 4 people and has a great feel to it. With space at a premium in NYC, it is unusual to find somewhere with so much room. The place is set up for staying in with a full kitchen, dining table, couches, large TV, DVD player, iPod connection etc. However with the location being so good, it would be a shame not to venture out to the nearby diners, restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is nicely decorated and the large balcony would be a hit it summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and will definitely look this place up again when we return.
November 14, 2010
Nice appartment, huge, very clear, very good localisation (only 3min walking from the F metro). Completely equipped and beds are very confortables. Situated in a nice area with a lot of restaurants and shops. On the down side, it is situated on a busy street, expect it to be noisy all the night. And another drawback was the cleanliness of the place: the flat is elder than it appears on the pictures, the wall painting are not so fresh anymore, sometimes even dirty, and the fridge and the bathrooms were not so clean. But overall we enjoyed our stay here and would go back to that place.
October 12, 2010
Our stay was nothing short of wonderful! Went on a business trip (decided to take the family at the last minute) This spacious and tastefully decorated 2br gem made our trip just perfect. Definatly a great find in the city...the outdoor space is a charm.. a very nice thing to have . We were able to savor the essence of my favorite city from this balcony! We received a great welcome from Ayala who was available to answer any of our questions. The apt. is super clean and well located with easy access to all kinds of subways and taxis...restaurants and all the charms of the East Village. We loved this place!!! Will be back...this is our new spot, Thanks Ayala.
October 9, 2010
We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay in the apartment. Our hostess was very friendly, arrived on time to meet and greet and then for our departure. Apartment clean, light and airy. Master bedroom fantastic. Facilities everything they claimed to be. Bed in second room less comfortable.
September 25, 2010
We had a wonderful time in NYC. The appartment is really great, comfortable and nicely decorated. Ayala was so nice with us and very helpful. The place is located at the best place : between lower east side and east village. Everything was perfect, and we sure will make the same reservation next time. Thanks again.

A friend and I stayed here for a week and we couldn't have had a better, more convenient location. The apartment is large and has all the amenities you might want for comfort. I’ve known the LES since the early 60’s and this was a great way to see my old neighborhood while enjoying Katz’ Deli, Russ and Dtr’s, and a host of new local restaurants. It’s an easy walk to Soho, China Town (20 minutes) or the Village and very close to the F train. Ayala was great to deal with and I am so glad I heeded her admonitions about Craigslist rip-offs. The majority of listings I had tried on Craigslist wanted 50% up front sent via Western Union or money order. I left an article on “cheap great eats New York” in the menu drawer. Enjoy!

My family and I stayed in this condo and we found the place to not only be very stylish, but it was extremely comfortable and clean. Its location is perfect! It's easy to get to the subway or hail a taxi! There's tons of great restaurants within walking distance; but you also have the convenience of being able to cook right there in the condo. This is an honest person; not a scam. We had a wonderful time... and yes... WE LOVE NYC!

We stayed 5 people for a week at the apartment at E Houston. The apartment is cool decorated, very comfortable and in a great location close to everything. The owner is a nice, friendly and honest person. All communication was easy. The booking process and check in / out were smooth and safe. I recommend this place highly.

We’ve just come back home from Manhattan where we have spent a delightful stay. Ayala’s apartment has been an important factor to accomplish it. It is fully equipped and very cozy. We are two adults and three boys and although the apartment wasn’t too large, everyone had his own space to amuse or rest. Moreover it is located in a pleasant area, scattered with food shops, laundries and restaurants. We recommend it indeed!! (Next post is the same review, although in Catalan)

This was the perfect apartment for two adults and two teenagers! We could not have asked for more. Enough space to give privacy, a nice room arrangement, the balcony, the building itself - funky elevators and all... already I want to go back! If you want to feel like a New Yorker, this is the place to stay. Ayala is very helpful and friendly. All arrangements were highly professional, from booking up until departure. It was a pleasure dealing with Ayala. The location is fantastic, a LOT of nice cafes, restaurants etc nearby. Especially for vegetarians there were so many places to choose from in the neighborhood that the two weeks we spent in the apartment just were not enough. And in the Whole Foods a couple of blocks away is a definite plus. Highly recommend the place!!

We stayed at this spacious apartment recently, as a party of five adults. There was plenty of space for all of us and we enjoyed the homely amenities, such as fully-equipped kitchen, huge TV and cable and wireless internet. The location is superb - close to Clinton Street restaurants, Katz's, a grocery store, pharmacy, one block away from 2nd Avenue Metro on the F line, and a short walk and you're at a number of fabulous NYC attractions. We will definitely stay here again if we need an apartment of this size as it represents excellent value for money and is the perfect base for a fabulous trip in the Big Apple.

The perfect vacation rental! The apartment is spacious, very clean, and fabulously decorated. I think our favorite part was the large patio! We felt so comfortable during our 2 weeks in the apartment. The neighborhood is fantastic, and Ayala was perfectly hospitable and professional. The doormen downstairs are super nice, and we were so sad to leave. We will most definitely be staying there again on our next trip to NY!

The place was very spacious, especially for NYC standards, clean, very nicely decorated and had all the amenities one could wish for (huge flatscreen TV, kitchen, balcony, two separate bathrooms, etc). It was also centrally located and next to some great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Very safe and hip area I must say. I look forward to staying at your place again the next time I'm in NYC.
