The Upper East Side is home to many of the wealthiest New Yorkers, as well as Museum Mile and world class shopping. It is a convenient location for exploring Central Park , as well as the many museums along Museum Mile. The famous Madison Avenue is home to many couture and designer shops, and even if you can't afford to buy anything, the window shopping is extraordinary. Park Avenue is lined with gorgeous pre-war apartment buildings and the gardening down the median make it a lovely place to stroll
