Description of the Manhattan vacation apartment rental

Tastefully decorated, 750 sq. ft., one bedroom apt, 16th floor, unobstructed views across the park and city. Pre-war, doorman building, fifty feet from subway entrance and cross town bus. Park is across the street and one minute from public tennis courts.

Apartment comes with Piano, microwave, air, wi-fi, free telephone on all US calls, fax, printer, cable TV in living room and bedroom.
Fully stocked kitchen All sheets, towels etc. After 7 days we offer a complimentary housecleaning including laundry, by our longtime housekeeper.

Area Information

Diverse, residential neighborhood. Streets are tree lined with brownstone homes. Shopping, nice restaurants and all amenities are within a five minute walk. Park is 50 feet away and the public tennis courts are $7 for one hour.

Museum of Natural History is 10 blocks - a 5 minute subway ride. Guggenheim and Metropolitan Museums are a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride across the park to Museum Mile.

beautiful apartment, beautiful location

This is a charming, roomy apartment, facing east and south, giving us a view of Central Park and the cityscape beyond. The kitchen is small but well-appointed, and both kitchen and bathroom have windows. The owners are easy to make arrangements with, and spent a good deal of time on the phone helping us with an internet connection that was intermittent due to Hurricane Sandy. The location is adjacent to a subway stop, within walking distance or quick bus ride to Museum Mile, near Whole Foods. There is minimal noise at night. Our stay was a pleasure.
