GEM 2 blocks from Times Square & Theatre District!
|Per night:||$225 - $350|
This apartment is perfect for friends, a couple or a family looking for an affordable way to experience New York. On a lovely residential street this apartment boasts a spotless interior, high-end appliances, hardwood floors and gorgeous exposed brick.
This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom features a dining table for 4, 2 queen size beds, and sofa. It is only one flight up in a pre-war building in the mid-forties off 9th Ave.
This quaint tree-lined street is surprisingly quiet (sans the occasional horse-hooves clopping by, or some 'enthusiasm' from a weekend nightlife fan- though nothing a shut window can’t fix; this will be the case with all similar properties)
The kitchen includes:
--high quality appliances (KitchenAid Artisan Stand Blender, Cuisinart food processor, blender, toaster, stovetop oven, coffee maker, stainless steel large refrigerator & microwave)
--an abundance of cookware (brand new Emeril 12 piece pots & pans, Pier 1 Imports baking sheets, serving utensils, silverware, etc.)
--a full rack of spices for preparing meals at home
--Dining table seats 4
The living room includes:
--42” Flat Panel HDTV w/ basic cable (premium cable optional for month stays or longer)
--FAST Wireless Internet complimentary with every stay (bring your laptop to easily stream Netflix or Hulu, straight to the 42” TV)
--Printer compatible with all laptops
--Air Conditioners on both ends of the apartment, in kitchen & master bedroom
--Clean & Comfy Queen Size Bed
--Two large closets
--Two shelving units
--Slightly smaller, this bedroom features a Queen Size Bed, Two large closets, and a TV. This room is entirely protected from street noise with no windows to the main avenue, and has wood framed shuttered windows that can open to the living room.
The bathroom has a full-sized clean bathtub. (Not always the norm in these pre-war buildings.)
All stays include fresh linens & towels.
Feel free to email with any questions!
I like to say the front yard is Times Square and the back yard is the Intrepid-- because it basically is. :)
Within a four block radius you will find the famed Restaurant Row, the heart of Times Square, Broadway Dance Center, Port Authority, the breathtaking Hudson River jogging/biking path & the Intrepid.
ALL Broadway theaters within a 5 minute walk. Also within walking distance are Fifth Ave Shopping Attractions, Bryant Park, Madison Square Garden, and so much more.
Many subways are easily reached from this location to get you where you need to be (A,C,E,1,2,3,N,R,Q,L).

Reviews for this vacation apartment rental in Manhattan, New York
October 22, 2013
WOW..great New York experience within walking distance to Times Square and the Hudson River. Apartment was nice and cozy and the kids loving looking out the window in the morning watching the hotdog/pretzel/knish vendors going to Times Square. Cait was great with communicating and giving us recommendations on restaurants around the area. We ate at two of them and they were excellent. Would gladly stay there again. We felt very safe for being our first timers to the big city.

Perfect Location and Cait is so wonderful to work with I would rent this charming apartment any time I am in NYC. Near restaurants that aren't chains and tourist traps while still just a ten minute walk to broadway plays. Can easily catch a cab right outside the apartment if needed.

Cait was great, started giving us information weeks ahead of our trip. The apartment was great, walked a couple of blocks to the Intredid (this was with 4 grand kids, 6, 5, 3 & 2). Then walked a couple of blocks the other way to Times Square. Subway was close but we grabbed a cab, it ran 9-14 dollars to go to the Museum of Natural Histoy, Central Park, Ferry, Empire State Building, CMOM and Chelsea Waterside Park. We had a great time and a lot of it had to do with the apartment and Cait.

I stayed in this apt with 3 friend for 7 nights and we have a lovely time here! The apt is great, comfortable and very good located, (you can walk from here to the times). The neighborhood is nice and you have many stores down the block (groceries, restós and laundry). The pics, don´t lie at all, is even greater once you live there! We felt it as home. Cait, the host, is the nicest, we will definetely come back there!!

This was an amazing apartment; we rent it for a week and we loved it. Great location and neighborhood and it is really near from Times Square. There were tons of restaurants, bars and delis around it (IT'S ACTUALLY CALLED RESTAURANT ROW!). I have no complains about it, and Cait was extremely nice and helpful! I would definitely rent again if I went back to NYC! I fully recommend this apartment!

That is a great apartment, with all kinds of great restaurants around, walking distance from Times square. The owner is super nice, it is just like being in a friend's house when she is not there. Would definitively go back.
