The living room has 10 foot high ceilings, hardwood floors with a designer area rug, a small dining table with chairs, modern coffee table, a leather couch, NEW flat screen TV with basic cable, AC, large window, brick walls, and designer lamps. The bedroom has a 10 foot high ceiling, queen size bed, brick walls, hardwood floors, large mirror, lots of closet and storage space, AC, two TALL windows, and lots of storage space. The loft is small (maybe five feet tall) and contains temporary bedding (a queen size futon mattress & air mattress), new pillows and linens, a reading lamp, fan, closet to hang clothes, and brick walls. The bathroom has a window, toilet, bathtub with shower, quality shower curtain with hotel quality lining, linens, and area to store your toiletries. The kitchen is small and has a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, basic utensils, window, an area to store some dry goods, and marble or hardwood flooring. I will be happy to purchase additional kitchen items for you upon request, or you can purchase items across the street as well.

My landlord allows me to sublet my apartment. This is written in my lease. He is one of the coolest landlords in NYC. You don't need to be secretive about staying in my apartment.

My neighbors are great. They live here year around. They are quiet and respectful. I ask that all my quests be the same.

This building was built in 1906 and has an old NYC historic flare. This building is a walk-up and is very common in NYC. There is no elevator in my building and there are three or four sets of stairs to walk up to my apartment. I will be happy to assist you with your luggage. There is an elderly couple living above me and they seem to manage just fine.

Like in downtown Paris or London, you can walk to so many places. I recommend you bring your best running shoes. People in NYC wear running shoes everywhere, even when wearing a suit. Running shoes are cool in NYC.

For longer stays, I have a mail box if you wish to receive mail.

Please don't hesitate to discuss with me any questions or concerns. I expect my apartment to be clean for your stay. If there is anything you find to be uncleanly, please let me know so I can take care of it. My apartment is cleaned professionally before every stay and fresh linens are provided. There is an excellent grocery store across the street if you need any specific toiletries. Toilet paper and soap are provided. I am here to make your stay as pleasant as possible, so please communicate with me about whatever you need!

NOTE:

My apartment is best suited for two people. I prefer to rent to two people. However, my apartment can sleep up to four people. Some people contact me and ask me if they can sleep four people in my apartment. As a FAVOR, I will allow it. The next comparable apartment in my area rents for a MINIMUM of $800/day (generally over $1,000/day). AS A RESULT, MY APARTMENT IS USUALLY SOLD OUT.

I USUALLY HAVE SEVERAL PEOPLE LOOKING TO RENT THE SAME DATES AND I AM UNABLE TO HOLD MY APARTMENT FOR YOU. FOR EVERY PARTY I ACCEPT, I HAVE TO TURN DOWN FOUR PARTIES. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.
