Description of the Manhattan vacation townhouse rental

Newly updated and very spacious two bedroom duplex apartment, on the 1st and 2nd floor of a townhouse. Located between the North West end of Central Park, and Morningside Park, you will enjoy a peacful and relaxing retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The aprtment is right near the 110th street subway station, where you can jump on the B and C subway lines, and quickly get to any major NYC attraction.

On the first floor there is a full kitchen stocked with all the neccessary equipment to prepare your meals. There is a large dining room table that seats up to 8 people. In the living room there is a comfortable double futon sofabed, two large windows overflowing with sunlight, and cable TV for your enjoyment. There are hardwood floor throughout the apartment.

Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom. the spacious master bedroom has a queen size bed, large closet, and dresser. there are two large windows overlooking the garden.

The second bedroom is extra large with two double beds, a large closet, dresser and two large window that face the quiet street and peek into the park.

Enjoy a conveniently located, large comfortable apartment -great for family and freinds, without the midtown prices. This apartment is suitable for 2-8 people. It is located in Morningside Heights (near Columbia University) which is just north of the Upper West Side. The neighborhood is up and coming ,young and trendy, and is known for it's afordable accomodations, and convenient transportation.

Area Description

The neighborhood has many "mom and pop" shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars. It is right near both Central Park and Morningside Park, the Cathedral St.John the Devine, Lasker staking rink/ Central Park pool, Columbia University, "Sienfeld's" Tom's diner,all upper west side museums and shops. This location has very quiet and peaceful surroudings, but easy access to midtown and downtown in just minutes!

This apartment gives you plenty of space for a family to spread out. It has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The decor is bright and not cluttered. There are groceries and drycleaners who will wash and fold your laundry within a half a block. No noise. The neighborhood felt very safe and it was a half block off Central Park. A block and a half to the subway. I would stay there again in a second.
