My husband and I rented the apartment for 10 days in July. We have been to NYC numerous times and have always stayed in hotels. Now that we have had this type of experience, renting is the way to go! The apartment was great and very reasonable. Tons of space, AC - and it was hot while we were there, nicely decorated. Fabulous neighbourhood, minutes from Central Park. We had made dinner reservations all around the city, but ended up most evenings staying in the UWS, top notch restaurants right around the corner. Luis and Ester were very helpful, we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Luis' lovely brownstone in March 2011. The apartment was much larger than we expected. Although the kitchen was small it was functional. The bedroom was large with a fireplace & the linens were first rate. The 2 bathrooms were a definite plus. The outside patio was nice but we only had one day of good weather to enjoy it. It was a short walk of 1.5 blocks to the subway & to Central Park. The living room was large with a fireplace & comfortable leather sofabed & loveseat. Luis was a great host, even helping us to find a parking space. We will definitely book here again. PS-The large capacity washer & dryer were great.

We stayed in this beautiful townhouse new years eve and it was everything we expected and more. The pictures DO NOT do this place justice. The place is huge plus clean and in a great neighborhood. Will definitely come back again!

Very spacious 1 bedroom 2 bathroom basement apartment with patio and 2 fireplaces on a beautiful quiet tree lined street. Owner Luis Carmo was always prompt to answer calls and couldn't have been a nicer host. Great neighborhood close to subways and everything you could need.

When we inquired about availability of this apt., were directed to adjacent unit. Imagine similar. Unit we had needs some work but was quite acceptable. Owner is rebuilding himself.Shower design caused water to go on bath floor.D/W did not work.Some cleaning needed.Needs curtains.Heat & A/C shared w/other apts sometimes too hot or too cold.Location great.Many restaurants,close to subway,bus,cabs.Great neighborhood.Still good value.Roomy.Would stay again.Wish owner luck in continued improvements.

We were 'first timers' to New York City, celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, so we wanted the experience to be special, and we did have a wonderful week exploring NYC from this apartment. It was so spacious, and the bed was just SO comfortable! That the location was so quiet was almost unbelievable, but very much appreciated. Loved that Central Park was a few minutes' walk away. We met the owner, Luis, and his recommendations on what to see and do were good to have. We would highly recommend this apartment for a visit to New York, and hopefully one day we may return.
