Description of the Manila vacation condo rental

6th floor 120 sq meter (1,200 sq ft) condominium, 2 bedroom, 2 toilet and baths, fully airconditioned. With maid's room with its own t&b. Over twice the floor area of similarly priced rental units, this one offers a lot of breathing room. See pictures to see how much space you'll have.

Spectacular Manila Bay sunset for most of the year, not to mention occasional fireworks displays from boats off the pier.

Newly remodeled, new kitchen cabinets, newly tiled t&b with new fittings, painted with low-VOC paint. Master BR bath features a 21" deep tub for full soaking, Japanese style.

Hot and cold running water, 110 and 220 volt outlets, full kitchen, electric range and oven, refrigerator, sofa bed in the living area. Dining table and chairs, dresser, side tables and standing shelves and bed all of solid narra (a red hardwood and the country's national tree).

24 hour security guards at all entrances incl rooftop plus roaming security and very friendly staff at the reception, convenience store on ground floor, swimming pool on the 4th floor. Wide hallways and lobbies for each floor, scenic elevators. Home service massage is very affordable ($5 an hour) a phone call away.

Right next to Trader's Hotel so taxis, tours and other services for hotel guests available close by.

Area Description

View of Manila Bay from both the bedroom balcony and the living/dining room balcony, also the Manila Yacht Club and Baywalk. Across the street is the Cultural Center Complex with the CCP itself right across the street, the Folk Arts Theater, Aliw Theater, the Philippine Intl Convention Center the Film Center and the Coconut Palace all a short walk away. On the other side, the Central Bank with its Gold Collection at the Metropolitan Museum and inside Central Bank, a convenient post office. For the kids, Star City amusement park is right next to the CCP and within the complex are paintball and karting fields. Historic Malate Church and Museum is a 5 minute walk away and Baclaran Church is 5 minutes by taxi or FX (like a jeepney but airconditioned) in the other direction.

The building is also a block from a large mall with a grocery store, department store and many shops and restos. Right next to the mall is the Manila Zoo and behind it is the Rizal Memorial Stadium where there is training for Wushu, Tae Kwon Do, a public olympic size pool and a track oval. It is also walking distance from St. Scholastica's College, De La Salle University and DLS College of St. Benilde. The other direction, it is one medium block to Buendia Avenue and Citem (Philippine Exhibitions). It is also a 10 minute taxi ride away from the Mall of Asia, Intramuros, the walled city which has the Manila Cathedral and San Agustin Church and Chinatown.

A veritable feast of dining options a short walk away and food delivery options as well.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities

Other amenities include a prepaid cable ready TV (load with $10 a month for cable services using a prepaid card) and plug in prepaid internet which you can take with you even when you go out (load is P10 or 20 cents US per half hour). Rice cooker, dinner service for five, pots, pan, bakeware, serving dishes and utensils. Kulintang (indigenous musical instrument) with stand. Bike, car, laptop and printer and cellphone rentals can also be arranged for an added fee, pls inquire about rates. Laundromat onsite at the basement. Salon, foot spa/massage, photo shop, money changer and banks on ground floor!

The best location in Manila where so many things are under a 5-10 minute walk away, including the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Zoo, the Metropolitan Museum of Manila and its unique cafe. The US Embassy is just down the street. Less than 10 minutes away are the Philippine National Library, the National Museum, Rizal Park and the historic Manila Hotel.

Check In: 12 p.m.
Check Out: 2 p.m.
Deposits: $20 deposit for utilities or breakages. Check payments must be cleared before occupancy. Deposit will also cover for electricity and additional will be charged if in excess of kwh covered by $20. Peak season renters (December) and those renting for a week or under must pay in full to confirm booking.
Other Fees: For cable, prepaid cable cards available at all 7-11 stores at P99 for three days and P500 for a month. Please request short term rental contract when making a deposit. Electricity will be charged additionally. Water and dues are included in the rental unless more than 5 people are staying in which case water meter will be read and charged. Waiver of these charges may be negotiated if they are within reasonable levels.

We have arrange for viewing and my relative got in, less than 24 hours. I'm very impress, satisfied and overall I had a wonderful transaction. I can't wait to get there.

A nice, well secured place to stay for families with kids. Close to Shopping Malls and convenient store. Staff are friendly and everything you need are there. I highly recommend this place.

The building is well secured, more of an upscale for manila which is nice.The security and staff are very friendly. Great location 10 minutes from just about everything downtown. The apartments is clean and fully furnished. Air con is great.It has a decent pool. A few tips they could work on... Put a microwave in the unit, The master bedroom matress is pretty uncomfortable. And fix up the maids room so that is functional. But i had a great stay, i would go there again.

great place to stay for oucples or families. it's accessible to anywhere in the metropolis. view from the balcony was great but even greater in the pool area where you can see the sunset from the manila bay. Spacious enough for big families, as well. "Very accommodating owner.
