When I first arrived in the Philippines, I compared dozens of different offers for apartments for rent to each other and Carol's were so far above everything else and the service was so much more professional than other offers that I rented her unit on the spot and wouldn't even consider anything else in Manila. I've since rented several units from her at different times and both Carol and the units always exceeded expectations. Mayfield is no different - a very spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen in a compound with swimming pool and all other amenities you could ask for - a huge super market RIGHT next to the condo and several big malls nearby. Friends and business partners of mine sometimes come to the Philippines and I always tell them to not even bother looking for apartments. Just go talk to Carol... she'll sort you out.

it was a nice well-maintained condo w/ well-functioning a/c, fairly descent bathroom and furnitures, wi-fi in the clubhouse, nice swimming pool that my 2 girls and guests enjoyed a lot. the staff was very polite and helpful, so were the guards. the only negative was they didn't have a generator to help us out of a 2day power failure. they also had a washer w/c made laundry convenient.

The unit is located inside a secure, clean village in Cainta with a pool, play area and club house. The unit itself has 2 aptly-furnished bedrooms and 1 T&B. Carol was very pleasant and patient in dealing with our requests. The only downside is the apartment's location, which is quite far from the Ortigas CBD especially given the Christmas rush. Getting cabs was a feat, going and coming back from Ortigas, as taxi drivers didn't want to travel too far away from EDSA. Overall, this location is good for those who plan a relaxing stay in Manila.

An Amazing and Awesome Vacation

After a long wait, our vacation day has finally come. The vacation was planned almost a year before and finding a good place to stay in Manila is not that easy. We found Mayfield on Internet and we are amazed how fast they respond to our inquiries. Looking at the reviews it is very convincing. Iinitially we had doubts considering that it can be easily produced by anyone. However with the very satisfying response we immediately made a booking. On the day of our arrival the transport Carol (the owner) arranged to pick us up is already there waiting for us and constantly coordinating thru SMS. Carol is also waiting for our arrival to Mayfield. It is very surprising, it is late night already but she is there making it a point that things will be in order. She really made us feel comfortable, apartment is clean, and beds are ready. The following day she tour us to the place and show us the amenities. It is a very good place indeed, secured and 24 hour guarded place, with a very clean and well maintained swimming pool, clubhouse, gym, basketball court. The place is very peaceful and daily basic things you would need is there. Argie (Carols assistant) is always there to accomodate any queries. We highly recommend the place to anyone and we guarantee you that you would get a satisfactory service as well. Thank you Carol, Mang Toto and Argie for a great service. We will surely come back and stay with your apartment again.

The place suited our needs and there was a manager (Argie)who lived on the premises who helped us out in all our queries in a timely and friendly manner. Access to transportation from the apartments (taxi even jeepney if you know where to go) was very easy. But some taxis had a problem in finding the place even when we gave them the written address but after 2 days we were able to direct the way so was not such an issue later. What made me to finally decide to stay there was the email responses i got from Carol, she answered all my queries in a manner that i felt she will take really good care of us and should we meet a problem she would be able to assist. Had a great time.

The owners Carol & Flaminio were really helpful & supportive both prior to & during our stay. Their agent Argie was also helpful and informative and assisted our time there. The complex is in a quiet location in a well serviced section of Manila but be prepared for travel difficulties - we found several taxi drivers were unwilling to drive to this location (or to take us from Cainta to other parts of the city) because of the traffic congestion. We were disappointed that the pool & gym were being repaired throughout the duration of the stay but the owners graciously discounted our rental in compensation. I would certainly rent this condo again on another visit to the city but I would build in allowances for excess travel times if you want to visit other parts of the city. If you want a quiet location to provide a home from home in the city this offers an excellent alternative to a hotel.

I stayed in Mayfield Park Residences during my vacation in the Philippines. A very safe place with a 24/7 security and a quiet place. Everything is nearby, you won't have to travel very far for malls and groceries. I highly recommend renting from Carol and Flaminio. They always made sure you were comfortable and accommodate every requests as soon as possible. Great people to deal with. Also, I would like to thank Argie as she was the one dealing with me in person. You guys are the best! I hope to see you guys again soon!

The condo itself was ok, there were a couple of things that didn't work until after a couple of days of being there like the internet and the DVD player. I didn't know you had to pay for parking eventhough you are already renting a unit there, kinda weird scenario considering not everyone that lives there did not own a car. Overall, it was an ok place to stay, it wasn't too far from places i wanted to go to.

I am a business man from the USA who stayed at this condo complex for 2 months and rented three units from Carol and Flaminio. The complex is beautiful, alot of fun, the personal service is great and everything is really close. Elegant swimming pool, large spacious clubhouse, water facility, laundry facility, on-site quick shop style sales, and the security is really great. A shopping mall just down the street, a grocery store right next door, a bank right next door that accepts Xoom transfers... you need it, you got it. Cant ask for much more. Great deal on the price. We were there over new years and it was really fun with so many fireworks. Carol and Flaminio were wonderful, truly the best people in the Philippines to rent from. Peaceful location although in the immediate outskirts of Manila. The unit is furnished and equipped with cooking gear, air cnditioning and cable TV. Swimming pool and wi-fi in the common area available. The only useful thing missing is a mop in the unit. The air conditioner in the second bedroom is out of order. Supermarket at hand. Light railway station quite near and easily reachable by taxi (20 PHP) or jeep (7 PHP). Taking LRT can be a challenge at rush hours. On the whole I think it is a good choice for those who want to have the big city quite at hand but want to be in a quiet place while at home

We lived in Mayfield park, specifically the unit owned and manage by Flaminio and carol for 6 months. Me and my husband had lots of fun memories there and we can say that our stay there was a good one. I loved MPR because its location is situated in a very quite neighborhood yet very near commercial establishments. We felt secure since there are 24 hours security and the cleanliness are superb. The amenities are also great; swimming pool that is regularly cleaned, cozy clubhouse and many more.
The unit we rented was great and well maintained. Carol and Flaminio are very helpful in all are needs. I truly appreciate Carol for always checking on our comfort and needs all throughout our stay in the unit, making sure everything in the unit is working properly and that utilities are functioning well. She is really an efficient manager.
All that to say, i really recommended staying in Mayfield Park.

Me and my family stayed at Mayfield Park Residence last July 0f 2008.We enjoyed our stay there.My boy Kewin loves to swim and play basketball,play pool and hang out in the clubhouse.We rented a 2BR condo and its very comfortable.We have computer access and the place is provided with cooking utensils.When travelling,especially with your family,i always consider security and comfort my priority.Mayfield Park has 24/7 security.It is also conveniently located and the price is very reasonable.Most of all,you can never put a price on peace of mind.Carol Arias will go out of her way to attend to your family's needs and make sure everything is allright.I would highly recommend Carol and her many properties.

We would like to thank you for our wonderful stay in one of your properties in Mayfield Park Residences. It was such an amazing experiences as we have met lots of lovely and wonderful people there.Our children had a great time as well as our eldest son's school is near the condo and should we need to go for a doctor's appointment for our baby we were never late because the condo is located in a very convenient location. We felt like we have travelled with our home.A pleasant place to live in and with a 24 hours security service which has kept us relaxed and worry free. The service which you have given us is truly admirable. It was not just as a tenant and landlord relationship but we have built friendship within us, see you soon and we hope we could have time for a night out. You're really GREAT guys!
