Description of the Manistee vacation condo rental
Two bedroom, two bath waterfront condo. Large front deck overlooking harbor of sailboats with Lake Michigan sandy public beach just behind condo. Next to indoor pool and exercise room + outside pool. Walk around harbor to children's play ground or go to large pier to watch salmon fishing. Huge sandy beach runs for several miles with public beach just behind condo. Enjoy the immanculate beautiful landscaping throughout the grounds. Condo has open living/dining and kitchen with slider to deck and pull out sofa. Master bedroom has private access to deck and large ceramic bath with stall shower and whirlpool tub. Second bedroom has one bunk bed and one single. Generous bath in hallway. Ceramic tiled foyer to backdoor and large side yard with plenty of parking. Galley kitchen is equipped to eat at counter, in dining area or use grill/glass topped patio table to dine outside under retractable awning on south facing deck. Watch the boats come and go. Good view of outside pool to keep an eye on the kids.
Casino is a few miles away. Little and Big Manistee River for canoeing and fishing. Salmon fishing galore -- rentals along Manistee River. Hiking in Huron-Manistee Forests (beaches). Amazing Lake Michigan Beach runs for miles. Manmade Lake is also right behind the condo for warmer water & private, calm setting.The historic town is one mile away. Manistee has a central street with shops that run for 3-4 blocks on both sides along Manistee River. Shops include a theater, antique, clothing, wine stores etc. There is a riverwalk that runs along the river in the center of town for a few miles starting from US-31 west past the two draw bridges to the southern public Lake Michigan beach with large boat ramps and a second pier. Manistee is bisected by the Manistee River that connects Manistee Lake to Lake Michigan. The newly expanded full service grocery store is one mile away, walkable via older residential streets from the condo complex. North 5 minutes is a casino with entertainment and restaurants and north 20 minutes is Onekema, Portage Lake and access again to Lake Michigan. Onekema has several nice restaurants. Frankfort is 20 minutes north of Onekema as you pass by scenic Arcadia Bluffs golf and restaurants. To the south of the condo is larger Ludington with lots to do, including several shows and a wonderful sandy beach and pier. There are several golf courses and walking trails in the National parks that surround Manistee.
