Large parties of up to 18 guests can be accommodated when Villa LunaTica is combined with our GuestHouse and our charming VILLITA (small house).
All 3 houses are located on the same hill-side property along our descending driveway - astonishing ocean-views no matter where you are!

In contrast to most other luxury Villa rentals, we try to make Villa LunaTica also affordable to smaller groups, even to honeymooners.
Therefore we have not only one (maximum) Villa rental rate like everybody else, but can offer lower rates tailored to a smaller number of guests - even if it's just the 2 of you looking for the very special experience!*
In addition we allow the flexibility to start and finish your window with any day of the week and we charge "per night", so there is no need to rent week-long increments (4 nights minimum / except in the peak season, when we offer only 2 fixed 8-night blocks: 12/20 - 12/28 and 12/28 - 1/5)

*All rates listed in the rates-section above are our minimum rates for 2 guests - prices increase based on numbers of guests (except peak season).

Rentals of 10 nights or longer are discounted by 10%.

Villa LunaTica - perched on a steep tropical hill-side above the Pacific Ocean, just minutes north of famous Manuel Antonio National Park, this stunning architectural gem showcases an inspired modern spin on Jungle Geometry: The Villa's spine - 2 immense almond beams - is supported by a double row of massive columns that march through the tri-level 'great room' to a panoramic window-wall, marking the increase in ceiling height from
14-24 feet as the space steps down.
From the entrance porch, strikingly sculptured stairs either levitate to a lofty
mezzanine and further up to the master suite and sun-deck above, or widen as they flow down to the kitchen/dining level and the living room below - always inviting to double as seating.
The vast floor-to-ceiling glass facade opens to a water-edged living terrace
shaded by 3 smartly suspended sails, while high cedar doors attend the
side-wing-suite on the right side of the living room level.

LunaTica was designed to be in tune with its tropical landscape - open to the
sea breezes, the scent of ylang ylang trees and the ever-changing light of its
rainforest environment. Rooms extend onto expansive balconies, patios and
hammock-strung terraces, while the magnificent teak-decked infinity pool is
carved into the hillside and embedded in lush tropical vegetation - shimmering sea views from everywhere - Extreme Comfort Zones !

A haven completely calm and serene contrasting the abundance of the jungle’s greenery - boldly simple in its furnishings and always sophisticated in its fusion of honest materials and textures - concrete, steel, glass, slate, flagstone and plenty of local hard-woods.

CENTRAL PACIFIC COAST

QUEPOS (a 25 min. flight from San Jose, 3 hours by car), is a sport-fishing town and the commercial center of the area (shopping / markets / medical center / banks / car rentals / casino, etc.)

MANUEL ANTONIO, 3 Miles south of Quepos, is Costa Rica's most exciting tropical coastal region graced with several off-shore islands and truly famous MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK - world renowned for its beautiful white sand beaches, the monkeys, an amazing variety of wildlife and fauna - a true jungle paradise showcasing the area's natural magnificence.

BEACHES:
We are overlooking the northern part of Manuel Antonio's main beach, Playa Espadilla, just 3/4 of a mile down our coastal road. Continuing south are 3 more white sand beaches within the park area, as well as romantic Playa Biezanz a few miles north.

Within walking distance are many of M.A's best restaurants, cafes and shops.
