Description of the Manzanita vacation home rental

The Ocean Castle is nestled among the tall trees of Manzanita. Come and stay in this cozy and relaxing home, located just 5 1/2 blocks from the beach. The lower level invites you in with all the natural lite shining from the french doors that lead out to the deck. Relax in the living room with a wood burning fireplace, Cable TV, VCR, DVD, a desk and two hide-a-beds. Just off the living room is the kitchen and dining room. The dining table comfortably seats 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials including a dishwasher and microwave. There is also a washer/dryer and large bathroom with tub and shower on the lower level.

On the upper level, you will find a bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms upstairs have big daylight windows with queen beds. The bigger bedroom has a skylight.

What a lovely escape!

The home that we rented from you was perfect! It was very well maintained and had everything that we needed to rest, relax, and do all that we wanted to do. The only thing that I would add would be a fan for those days when it is hot to blow out the hot air on the second story! It was wonderful having the laundry right there to take care of the things that we got wet at the beach. ;-) We will be doing this again only with our kids. They would enjoy the beach access and all the things that are available to do just in the Seaside - Tillamook corridor. Thank you for providing such a perfect place for us.

Great House four adults, two kids

The house worked out well for us. My parents were visiting and we also had our two small children. The love seats are convertible beds for the kids. It's not right on the beach, but within easy walking distance. Great town. You can't beat summertime value pricing of this home.

This is our 8th annual stay at Ocean Castle. We had been so sad when we could not find you through Ribbon and then we googled the house and found it with Manzanita Beach Getaway. Hooray!
Our weather this time was AWESOME!!!
We enjoyed eating on the deck a lot. (Just recently stained, looks nice) We saw a couple of meteors, we did our usual sand castle building, hind and seek, game playing, puzzles, movie watching, and just general relaxing. Thanks for making it possible by providing a place to stay which has remained affordable for us!!

The Ocean Castle was a last minute idea and Danielle made it happen for us. The whole process was so convenient that I`m not sure why we haven`t gone through a booking agency before. I am sure its not common to experience such ease with all booking companies, yet Manzanita Beach Getaways was seamless. The home was quite cozy & clean. For the age and with no upgrades the rental was in relatively great shape. The home has an adorable lay out and is just right for 4 people. The bedrooms are upstairs and the deck is perfect to BBQ, when warmer. We love the fireplace and the convenience to downtown and the beach.

It takes less than 10 minutes to walk (or about 2 minutes to drive) down to the beach,and it`s in a private, wooded lot that feels wonderfully relaxing. If you want to step out your door to the beach, this isn`t the house for you.....but if you love to relax at the beach without people walking past your window all the time, give Ocean Castle a try. It`s been our favorite for years!
