Description of the Manzanita vacation home rental

Located between Manzanita and Nehalem; ‘Wapiti Trail Lodge’ is nestled into a serene grove of alder trees. This custom built home was built to enjoy the outdoors. It features a spectacular river rock fireplace with pine log accents for a cozy atmosphere during even the stormiest of coastal weather. This peaceful lodge is a frequent resting/grazing spot for the local elk and deer. A large covered outdoor room which also features a fireplace allows you to enjoy the surroundings no matter what the weather.

The large gourmet kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops and massive gathering table—that comfortably seats 12 or more-- creating a welcoming space for cooking and dining with loved ones. The home was designed for casual and comfortable get-togethers in mind.

The ground level has 1 ½ baths, master bedroom with king bed, washer and dryer, larger living space with 32 inch flat screen, stereo and plenty of seating. Second floor has a full bathroom; loft area with a fold out leather couch; queen bedroom; and kid’s bedroom with 2 twin beds and TV. There are also 4 large, very comfortable sleeping mats available for extra guests.

This unique home features a convenient, central location: only a short 5 minutes from the beach, golf, restaurants, and grocery stores. The activities at your disposal are practically limitless ~ shopping (from local artisans to outlet malls); hiking (you will find some of the most breathtaking scenery just minutes away); crabbing; clamming; fishing and of course the beautiful Manzanita beach (rent a reclining ‘beach’ cycle –fun and great exercise!)

This home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Northern Oregon Coast. With its warm woodsy atmosphere and the regular visits form the local elk herd this is the place to be with your family and friends rain or shine.

Gorgeous patio with outdoor fireplace

You can tell from all the details of the house that the owners put their hearts & thoughts into it! The kitchen is well stocked (tea bags, pancake, scone, cookie mix). They even have graham crackers, marshmallows & chocolate! We especially love the covered patio. There are plenty of seats where everyone can enjoy the fireplace. Thanks for sharing your beautiful house with us!

My wife and I stayed with a couple of friends at Wapiti and had a blast! The owners are helpful and knowledgeable about things to do all around Manzanita, and the house is even better than in the pictures. There has obviously been a great deal of effort in the details at Wapiti. The home gives a very comforting feel from the warm tones with wood throughout to the comfortable furnishings and forested backyard. It is a great place to be social with your guests as well. The front room is well connected to the dining room, back porch, and the kitchen so everybody can be part of the conversation no matter what you are doing.

Peaceful and Private Place

What a peaceful, private place to relax, recharge and enjoy the fireplace with a loved one! The place is equipted with everything you might need and then some. The grocery store is minutes away, so we enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. Lots of activities around. Everything is new and clean. We stayed here for a few nights and we are deffinately coming back.
