Vacation Rental Description
Our fishing lodge is located on tiny Conch Key on the "Bay" (Gulf) side of the Overseas Highway. From our 65 foot dock you will have direct access to vast expanses of the flats and islands of Florida Bay. Our island is at the Southwesterly end of the Long Key Bridge at milepost 63. A 5 minute trip by boat will take you directly to the Atlantic Ocean-5 more miles to the Reef.
Conch Key is a lobsterman's and crabber's community. One of the delights of each morning is watching the aging fleet of lobster boats leaving to pull their lobster traps.
Sunsets are fantastic. From our dock or roof top deck, we have direct views of uncomparable sunsets.
Our site is one of the largest on the island. The property is entirely walled in and secured by an automatic gate.
A special feature is a small cottage which can sleep one or two people and has its TV, Phone and AC.
Area Description
Hawkes Cay- large resort at mile post 61, ocean side.
Dolphin Research Center, Grassy Key- about 2 miles south on the Overseas Highway.
Long Key State Park- 9 miles north on the Overseas Highway.
