Description of the Marathon vacation home rental

Spend your Vacation right on the Ocean in this 2 bedroom 2 bath Ocean Cottage! We are ground level, located in Marathon in Little Venice, which has an authentic quaint fishing village feel. It's all about the Ocean over here! This home is a corner property with water on two sides, we have 180 degrees of unobstructed Oceanfront views, that's 110' of Oceanfront dock, with a very long and wide 80' dock and deepwater canal on the second side, so you have two sides of waterfront property with Serious Big Dockage. There is parking on property for two vehicles and one boat trailer. One of the spaces is a covered carport. 100% Oceanfront views from the Kitchen, dining, and Livingroom. The Master bedroom has a king bed, full bath, Guest room has twin beds and full bath. This is a legal rental unit for six people, however, there are only beds for four guests! Our living room has an enormous comfy couch with two reclining chairs, so you can all enjoy watching the Hi Def TV, or listen to the stereo and Ipod. We're air conditioned and heated, new appliances and laundry. Our laundryroom is also on ground level and is a great place to leave your dive or fishing gear safely locked up. Large bait freezer for you serious fisherpeople, along with a large fish cleaning table.

It is 4 minutes to deepwater access on the Ocean or Gulf. You can fish right from our docks, or just watch the manatees, birds and sealife go by. There is plenty of room for sunset watching and entertaining in our huge oceanside yard and patio.

Non-smoking, and pet considered!

Beachtowels, coolers, lawn chairs, gas barbeque, everything you need for your home away from home! Come on down!!!!!

Amazing Accommodations

My fishing buddies and I stayed here during the first week of May 2012. A perfect place to stay if you have a boat (or not). Access to the Gulf or Ocean is just minutes away via the Vaca Cut. You can fill the livewell with pinfish caught off the home's dock. The house is very clean and fully equipped and the views of the ocean from the private backyard are priceless. The neighbors are friendly, too. We are already booked for May 2013. If I can make one suggestion, it would be a picnic table for the yard.

Yes, we keep looking for an outdoor table that won't blow away in high winds during the summer, thanks for the suggestion. Fantastic View!

This house fantastic throughout! Lots of dockage for boats. Nice furnishings. Fish the ocean 20 ft from the house. Located about a half mile from Vaca Cut. Close to shopping center, airport, restaurants. Great tarpon fishing at Bahia Honda bridge.

We loved our stay. Just what we wanted not the normal hotel feeling but a home away from home. This place is close to everything thing yet we felt we not on top of on top of the neighbor's' we did buy a small wading pool for the grandson hope they kept it.
