Description of the Marathon vacation townhouse rental

This property is new and beautiful. It is cottage style but located in paradise. It comes with everything you need for a wonderful vacation in one of the best fishing and diving spots in the world. You will also enjoy the large resort style heated pool. Fully furnished for relaxing. There is a 31 ft boat dock that is included, with fish cutting table and a dock master to give you all the local fishing holes.

The granite and stainless kitchen will meet all your cooking needs and there are many wonderful places to eat if you don't want to cook. High speed internet is included as well as a plasma TV in the spacious open living space. Each bedroom also has TV. There is an assigned parking space which is covered so you will never be looking for parking.

Take in the lush, tropical landscape and tropical birds that also inhabit this beautiful place. Bring the snorkel gear and take an under sea adventure.

There is also a gym on site and we may be able to help you find a place for the boat trailer.

Marathon is the fishing capital of the country many tournaments and many fishing guides to help find the fish. We also can off golf at the local club for $130 a round. This is a private club and arrangements must be made ahead of time.

So many things to do and so little time. Make your reservation now for this season and you will not be disappointed.

Area Description

The location could not be better, you will be between Key West and Islamorada. Spend a day taking in the sights of Key West and enjoying Duval St. or the theater, or perhaps the Symphony. Another day you can go up the keys to Wide World Sportsman, and shop for just about anything. See a life size model of Ernest Hemmingways boat right in the store. Have lunch and return to paradise. Boat rentals are available and snorkel trips as well as dive trips. Little Palm Island is just up the road and is a great lunch destination.

Just taking in the natural beauty of the Keys is worth the trip.

This property is everything you hope ...plus a little more. A fabulous location, comfortable furniture, spotless home with most anything you need. The bedding and linens are also 5-star. Even the Princess and the Pea would sleep wonderfully in these beds. We kept the french doors open all night long. The house sits right on the Gulf of Mexico with a boat slip available. No boat? You can rent one and they'll deliver it right to your dock. The owner, Diane was a dream to work with. The price was 1/3 of other 4-5 star resorts. The weather was perfect and there were plenty of restaurants from very casual to very upscale (try Pierre's in Islamorada /MM 81.6 for an unforgetable experience). This is a laid back, quiet resort. There is a heated pool with lots of comfortable lounges. We are already planning next year's trip and look forward to working with Diane again. Try it you will NOT be disappointed!

This is a very nice vacation rental; like new with all modern amenities overlooking the water. It was extremely clean as well. The owner was very easy to work with and provided the key/contract as promised and on-time. The unit is a nice rental for a family with plenty of room. We were lucky enough to see a manatee just outside our door in the boat dockage area laying on it's back while drinking fresh water from the hose. I can't say enough about the wonderful time we had in Marathon and the beautiful unit. If we return to the Keys, we would rent this unit again.
