Description of the Marblehead vacation cottage rental

Deck overlooking lake makes for beautiful sunrise. House does not have direct access to the lake or beach.
Patio furniture, grill makes for relaxing evenings.
Cottage has queen bed in private bedroom. 1 full, 3 twins on second floor loft.
Full Kitchen, cable, air conditioning wireless internet access, computer not provided.
Does not include: Linens,towels,bedding,blankets,comforters.
Laundry facility available on premises at campground store.Campground store closed on tuesday and wednesday.
Cottage adjoins campground and marina. Dockage available.
Reasonable rates. Family oriented.
Reservations required, limited.

Renter is responsible for all kitchen and bath products. This includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, all personal hygiene products.
Midweek pricing is Monday-Thursday, excluding holiday weeks.

Located on the Sandusky bay. Direct access to Lake Erie.
Put in Bay and Kelley's Island Ferries all within 10 minutes. Quaint shopping, restaraunts within 5 minutes.

 Happy Campers at Kamp Kozy, August 7, 2008

Very nice cottage. Clean and spacious. It was very relaxing sitting on the deck & listening to the waves off the lake. We fished off a rock across from the house but no luck catching any. Campground was quiet and the people were nice. Have to walk by the marina to get to beach. We had the beach all to ourselves but were told the campers won't have access once the home construction along the beach is done. Our only complaint was that we stayed Sun & Mon and should have been charged 1 weekend night & 1 weekday but were charged weekend rate for both nights. Lots to do in the area. My kids can't wait to go back to Kamp Kozy.

This is a really nice cottage! The house layout is great! Pretty Clean too. There were only a couple of things I'd like to note is that the double bed and twins are on a 2nd level and connected. You have to walk through the twin room to get to the double room - not a bad thing, just something that should be noted. Similarily, the washer and dryer is no longer IN the cottage. Also, they had some Racoon problems before we got there and there was a bit of an odor that someone in 2008 might want to ask about before they rent. It will probably have aired itself out by 2009. The staff was very nice and the area was lovely. Nice place at a "deadend" so the traffic is minimal. Lovely little playground for the kids not far from the cottage. Great view of the bay from the living room, only slightly obstructed by trees. We'll probably use it again next year!!!
