good location away from all the traffic of Marco.But close enough like you were there.Beautiful condo ,loved the open air concept.pool right next door/with hot tub,never missed an evening during our two weeks.My boat was right out the back dock.marina ,bait,gas right at the end of the canal.Quick access to great boating in ten thousand islands.Great fishing location even got some nice fishing off the dock.Our family had a great time.Very secure area.

Well appointed property with great amenities. Master Bedroom suite is wonderful with view of Osprey's nest not more that 60' away. Owners are very accommodating and work to please their guest. We will definitely visit this property again as it was clean and convent to Marco Island without the congestion.

quiet getaway

We stayed at this condo for a very short time due to unexpected circumstances we had to go home early, but while we were there it was lovely. owners were great, did everything possible to give us a great vacation getaway. Home is nicely furnished, comfortable, spotless. Restuarants within walking distance, marina with boat rental within walking distance. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again! We were very sorry we had to leave early. :(

goodland good vacation

My husband and I took a two week late booking and were very happy with the property and the area. It was very relaxing with nice places to eat and the accommodation was clean and well furnished to a high standard. June the owner met us on site and she was very helpful in making sure we would have everything to make our stay enjoyable. The only thing I would suggest would be internet access and some future guests may require a t.v. in the other bedroom but our stay was excellent and would reccommend the property to others. Thank you too. Will be getting a tv for spare bedroom soon. Most guests have had their own internet USB or Hot Spot on their telephone. However, we will look into the possibilities available for temporary guests that do not have it.

A great stay at a fantastic property. The large condo with over the top designer interior is in a great location. Very private, quiet area yet close to the beach and about anything a vacationer desires. Friendly neighbors and nice private pool area.

greeted by owner to receive keys and info for week, very friendly, beautifuly decorated, spaceous, - just as described on website. Unit is close to pool - which was warm, hot tub perfect. The warm sunny weather was a plus too! All made for a great Christmas vacation for the family.

Wonderful Vacation

3 generations (20+, 50+, &70+-yr olds) all had a fabulous time at this beautiful, spacious, immaculate condo...fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, swimming in the pool, partying (the 20s generation), and just laying around reading, dozing, and enjoying the breezes from the palm trees through the wide double doors leading to the screened-in decks (the 70s generation). Goodland was quaint and quiet but with waterside restaurants and an easy ride to Marco Island & Naples for more action. We were delighted that there was an occupied osprey nest in a tree just across the canal, and the last day we were there a manatee swam right into the canal by the condo! The landlords were gracious and available if we needed anything, and we highly recommend this condo.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this overlooked gem. The house was immaculate and extremely well appointed. There is plenty of room, so you really get that “at home” feeling. While we were close to all of the activities of Marco Island we were not part of the traffic and hustle and bustle. Our favorite thing to do was to ride bikes into town, pick up some food for dinner, and come back to eat on the porch while listening to the fish jump in the canal and the music from Stan’s. I highly recommend Callusa Island as a holiday rental.

We HIGHLY recommend this CLEAN and fantastically outfitted "home away from home". The furniture, bedding and linens are heavenly. The owners couldn't have been more helpful.....preparing the house with special holiday touches and sharing with us their personal stash of fishing gear. Our boys had so much fun fishing off the back dock. The location is serene and yet equally distanced for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. Thanks Richard & June for a fantastic holiday!

Better than Marco Isand!!

We could have stayed in Marco for the same price but instead we stayed in the most luxurious place yet and tripled our usual square footage! The master was so was big with a huge tv,sofa,chaise & 2nd private lanai that we hung out there at night. The pool rarely had people there & if was-it wasthere it never more than 1 or 2. The pool temperature was perfect-like a warm bath. Everything is top of the line inside-loved the convenience of the elevator. Enjoyed walking to Stan's on Sunday & Marker Eight for breakfast. We appreciate the wifi internet! Very nice owners & neighbors too! What a hidden gem 5 minutes from Marco!! Thank you!!

Location in a quiet, very friendly community. Short walk to restaurants on the water with great variety of food. One vegetarian in our group, was pleasantly accommodated. The pool is a community pool, but so close to the property, might as well be in the back yard. The residents we came in contact with were all extremely nice. The property was perfect for us. Luxury linens on all the beds and bountiful new thick towels. Beautiful high end furnishings. The two screened in lanai areas, with double door openings, were my favorite. One off the master bedroom, the other off the living room. Many osprey and pelicans. Loved it! The garage is actually large enough for three vehicles, and the private elevator is really handy bringing things in. Nice quiet relaxing location, yet close to beaches, and nightlife. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! The only improvement I would like to see would be internet.

We stayed 8 days and it was the highlight of our trip. This place is beautifully furnished. The pictures don't do it justice. It is convenient to dining and entertainment. By far the most beautiful unit I have ever stayed in for the price this was offered. Location, location, location too is a big factor for my family and myself. This was in such a great setting and yet boating, beaches, shopping, and great dining were so close by. We even took a day trip to South Beach to check it out. However, we were glad to get back to the laid back relaxing surroundings only Calusa Island could give us, and away from the traffic and hustle of the east coast. JIM & CHRIS KRIEL

Fun and Relaxed

After staying on the beach at Marco Island for the past couple of years we decided to stay in Goodland for a change. This home is absolutely fabulous and within walking distance of the restaraunts, bars and fresh seafood market. The bedrooms are gorgeous and roomy. The two screened in balconies are lovely. No hustle and bustle. Owners are also very helpful in making sure your visit is nice. Pool and hot tub are just our your back door . Boat slip and canal also out the back door. I would definitely stay her again. Great for people who don't like all the commotion of the other side of the island.

Good times on Goodland

This place is fantastic! We had a group of 6 and had a super time! This place is spacious, clean, top of the line. The pool is wonderful and a very close walk. Stan's is just around the corner and there are wonderful little resturants to visit near by. If you have the time, go on a airboat ride at Stan's. We hope to visit again next year. This condo is awesome, it is well furnished with high-end treatments,the boating is exceptional, surrounding waters are loaded with dolphins,etc. it is a 5 minute boat ride to where the boats can run on plane and 5 more minutes to the gulf. Also there are 3 restaraunts within walking distance of the condo, one of which is "Stan's idle hour", don't miss sunday afternoon at Stan's. It is a 5 minute car ride to the grocery store ,etc. on Marco Island. ENJOY , we did.

Thank you for your kind email. We certainly enjoyed ourselves in your lovely home away from home! I searched thru many rentals online that weren't up to my standards in many ways. I was thrilled to find yours and it was the only one that looked wonderful through pictures. And it was even better in person. I tried not to leave more than just laundry for your housekeeper. I had fun folding your towels....contrast colors and simple fan folding over the towel racks. We don't have any towel racks in our apt. and it's funny the little things you miss. Thanks, too, for the special holiday touches. The box of candy was scrumptious!

We found the location very central. We enjoyed eating at Marker 8 and Little Bar in Goodland. We took a fishing tour from the Marina with Captain Jay and enjoyed it very much. The kids fished from off your dock and the pail was filled to the top with fish. We have told our friends about your wonderful place and now hope that it's not fully booked for our next trip!!
