Perfect for a couple or just best friends, this charming brookside house will soothe your nerves. The babble of the brook outside the master bedroom will lull you to sleep and the garden plantings will lift your spirits. Also great as an artist's retreat. A well-mannered cat or dog is welcome.

Situated on the edge of the cutest village in the Catskills, low traffic road, no houses on 3 sides, the stream is right outside the back door and visible from the living room and the master bedroom.

The house is a 1-minute walk to the lake with canoe and kayak rentals available, 1-minute drive to the Farmers' Market, 5 minutes to an 18-hole championship golf course and indoor pool, 10 minutes to mountain-biking, horseback riding, and swimming.

Great place the neighborhood is quiet the lake is beautiful. The onsite hiking is nonexistant but there are lots of trails in the catskill park 10 min away.
