Golf and Pool Mini Resort

This house is beautiful. Exceptionally clean and has everything you need. The pool was wonderful and so refreshing in the 90 degree temps. Back yard is very private and quiet. The community itself is gorgeous and has tremendous walking/biking trails. There is also a community center with a huge pool, basketball, and other activities. The people that live in the community were exceptionally friendly. The owners of the home contacted us the day we arrived to make sure everything was okay. They are very nice people and pleasant to deal with. We would definitely rent this house again on our next trip to the valley of the sun!

We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Miller home in Maricopa. The home was comfortable, clean, spacious, and safe. The pool area was fun, the master bed extremely comfortable and the kitchen filled with the necessities. We enjoyed having the option of preparing dinner in the spacious kitchen or enjoying one of the local restaurants. We made use of the discount cards at the local supermarkets, which really saved some money. The primary purpose of our trip was to golf and our experience at both Southern Dunes and The Duke was great. The home owner, Debbie Miller, was very easy to work with and accessible if we had a question. This was particularly important to us since this was our first time in a vacation rental. Thanks so much, Debbie!

This was our first experience renting a vacation home and would definitely do it again after our experience with this one. The home was beautiful and set up for a family. Walking distance to most neccesities. We did alot of site seeing and was a good base camp. We could have used a few more blankets when friends came for a weekend, the extra rooms only had comforters or bed spreads and in Feb we could have used some extras. The kitchen was well supplied and stocked. Any problems or questions we had were quickly answered by the owners

Debbie and Rex, My girlfriend and I stayed the 1st week in February and truley enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. It was so comfortable and the use of the community pool was great. Thanks for the beach towels - they came in handy. We were close to local shopping and the drive to the Mesa area and the Gateway airport was so easy. We definitely would recommend your home to other travelers. We just wanted to thank-you for your beautiful home. We spent 2 weeks there in May and loved it!! From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed. You have such wonderful touches. The fully equiped kitchen and bathrooms, the wonderful, comfortable furniture and, of course, the great pool made our stay a wonderful escape. You certainly didn't cut corners on the linen and bath towels. They are very high quality. Ron spent a lot of time at the golf course, I spent time around the pool. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Thanks for leaving admission cards for the community center. Shopping was close. What a great idea you had leaving shopping cards for the 2 grocery stores. You thought of everything. The house layout was perfect. I love the master bedroom suite on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms. Plus, the other bedrooms were like a private suite of their own. Very spacious, very nicely done. Gorgeous Home. Comfy beds and furniture. Very Clean. Nice open concept. Washer and dryer a bonus. We really enjoyed the pool on hot days and used the BBQ at night. Owner had discount card for local grocery store,Fry's, nice touch. To get to Fry's faster use Eddison Road and anything you want Fry's will have. If you love to shop go to Casa Grande, they have an oulet mall on the outskirts of town with restaurants, like Olive Garden and the usual fast food places too. In Maricopa, we really enjoyed the pizza at Rosatti's, good wings too. There is also a Walmart Supercenter on the Casa Grande Freeway as you head out of Maricopa towards Casa Grande. We felt really safe in this neighbourhood and even utilized the community pool and exercise room, it was a nice walk from the house. We absolutely would recommend this property to anyone. We loved it soooo much we are thinking of buying our own home there and even offered to buy this home. But, its our loss as the owners do not want to sell their gem. The pictures are accurate but they don't do the house justice.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

We had a fabulous time in this vacation rental! It was close to golf courses, and the pool was very refreshing in the 100 degree weather. We plan on coming back!

A great home for family fun. Fantastic backyard for swimming and BBQing. Beautiful pool. Tile floors in main area and leather furniture in livingroom are family friendly for kids. Comfortable beds with upgraded linens. Beautiful community with workout facilities at clubhoused a short walk away. 5 min to golf course and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The owners are terrific to work with. We hope to make this an annual event.

Q:How close is the nearest golf course?

A:"The Duke" golf course is part of the community and is about 1 mile away. "Southern Dunes" is aprox. 3 miles away and it is a Troon golf course, listed as one of the top 10 courses in Arizona!

Q:What is the floor plan like?

A:It is the popular split bedroom floorplan with the master tucked away at the rear of the home right off the pool. There are no stairs and the home is wheelchair accessible. Very wide entry and enormous kitchen!

Q:How far is the home from the Community Center?

A:A short walk (about 10 minutes) on the meandering walking path will get you to the beautiful Community Center" where there are 2 more pools, basketball,work-out rooom, and children's play area.

Q:How close are you to the nearest shopping?

A:We are about 3 blocks from the Frye's grocery and household store, a very nice store located oin a strip mall. There is a yogurt shop, nail & hair salon, restaurants, & more, just a quick 5 minute walk! We are aprox. 15 miles form Casa Grande & the outlet shops or 16 miles from the popular "Fashion Square Mall" in Chandler.

Q:How far is it to Chandler, or to any big city attractions, etc. ?

A:Maricopa is just 15 miles south of Chandler down Highway 347 and it is a 20 minute drive. The big Fashion Sqaure Mall and all the retailers and restaurants you could possibly imagine !
