Description of the Marquette vacation home rental
Cliffs Ridge is so-named because you can see its rooftop from Cliffs Ridge Run at the top of Chair #1 at Marquette Mountain, formerly Cliffs Ridge Ski Area. Part of the beauty of renting Cliffs Ridge is its personality and warmth -- you can enjoy family and friends without the commercial feeling of a hotel, and with the great kitchen you can enjoy excellent meals without the expense of going out to eat for every meal.
Fully furnished, it is a wonderful place to rejuvenate and spend time with the ones you love. Relax in front of the fireplace after a great day of skiing, curl up and watch a movie in one of the comfortable chairs in the living room, enjoy drinks on the 2nd-story deck after a day at the beach, or read a book in one of the private bedrooms.
This year-around vacation home is the perfect spot for family reunions, ski vacations, NMU parent activity weekends, wedding parties and more. Our hope is that your family can enjoy it the way we have for 20+ years -- and that it can become your Marquette home-away-from-home as well!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cliff's Ridge! It is a clean property that is well laid out. All bedrooms are on the lower level and the kitchen, dining, and living rooms are on the upper level. The deck was a great place for a nice cookout we had. The location is great for getting to the nearby golf courses. The only drawback would be the closeness to the highway, which you cannot see, but you do hear the cars drive by. After awhile you sort of get used to it. I would recommend this property for renting.

Our group of ten had a really nice time at Cliffs Ridge. Came up to ski the Noquemanon. We found the place to be really nice, clean, well laid out, and super convenient to town and other activities (just around the corner from alpine and cross country skiing). The owners were great to deal with. Very reasonable and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend Cliffs Ridge for your UP vacation. Thanks!

rented house so that my brother and his family and myself could visit my sister, who is a student. It was very nice for people like us on a budget to be able to just come somewhere to relax, watch tv, and not spend $100 on drinks and food we don't want or need. I also was able to work out while i was there by playing my exercise dvd or running on nearby trails. We also went hiking one day up a big mountain (Sugarloaf?) that lent a breathtaking view of the lake.

Very nice house, well kept up, and spacious with lots of room for a larger group to spread out. Close to all that Marquette has to offer, yet far enough out of town that it still feels secluded. The deck was great in the summer time!

We stayed at Cliff's Ridge last year and it is a beautiful home with lots of space and all the amenities a person could ask for. The property and interior were very clean and well cared for. The location is perfect for all of the great activties Marquette has to offer. We would definitely recommend this property.

If you need two hotel rooms come here! A beautiful home in a quiet private setting. Easy to find and perfectly designed so the early sleepers are away from the night action. The L shaped area allows several groups to enjoy the fireplace while games, TV or Kibitzing take place with little interference. So pretty in the winter. It is easy to rent and easy to follow instruction with a local help number which I never needed. Cleaner than many motels and lots of hot water! Don't miss the Creole restaurant (Lagniappe) down town! Best outside of the Big Easy.

My family met in Marquette to spend the holiday together and we had a wonderful time at Cliff's Ridge! The kitchen/living room area was well suited to visiting and we loved the feeling of being in a tree house. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. Having them on the lower level helped with getting children to sleep! The property was as presented and the owners were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this property and will probably return in the future!

We have had our girls reunion there for the last two years. We lived in the dorms together in the mid 80's. The first reunion we had a few years ago, we all stayed in hotels. Not much interaction. At night, we each went back to our rooms. In the house, we can shop, have breakfast around the table, and visit into the wee hours of the morning. Very clean, convenient, and owners are very easy to work with! Thanks for such a great experience!

I took my husband to the UP for our Honeymoon, and we stayed at this beautiful home in Marquette. I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to introduce my husband to the UP. This home is nestled in the woods, cozy, comfortable, and everything you could ever want or need provided there for you. Very close to town, Lake Superior, and all the activities Marquette has to offer, yet very private and close to the ski hill. I can't wait to get back up there again!

We had such a fun weekend at your beautiful home! We were up visiting our son at NMU and it was great to have him stay with us! The weather was incredible -- 80s and the leaves were so beautiful. We went to the beach and the boys swam! We played Monopoly and enjoyed great dinners! Great times at Cliffs Ridge, thank you so much!
