It is located 30 min. south of Marrakech and within 5 min. of Lalla Takerkoust lake.

The area is a nature lovers dream, surrounded by natural parks and rural activities, provides a wide range of opportunities for walking and cycling tours, windsurfing, horse riding, paragliding, bird watching .

Area Description

This region offers the visitor chance to discover a corner of Morocco that still conserves all of its natural beauty and cultural heritage. Tourists are welcome but not yet predominant. The pace is relaxing, the air is clean; prices fair, products fresh and gastronomy fine.

Built in the time of the French protectorate, the Lalla Takerkoust dam provides Marrakech and its region with electricity. It has also enabled the creation of a very pleasant artificial lake, only 40 Km away from Marrakech. Over several square kilometres, this stretch of water provides a refreshing opportunity to escape from the heat and pollution that rage over Marrakech at certain times of the year.

"We enjoyed our stay in this house very much, and were happy we did not have rented in Marrakech itself, as this was an oasis of tranquility. The family of the owner took very good care of us (which was also neccesary as the household only speaks arabic, but is also very friendly). A car is a must, but you will not find this property for the frst time on your own, so a deal with the owner to capture you at the airport is neccesary. We loved the swimmingpool, which was brand new. Our holiday was an adventure and it was great"
