Description of the Mashpee vacation home rental

Our waterfront Cape Cod Home, that sits across from Johns Pond in Mashpee,MA, was constructed in 2008. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the upper level with two bedrooms offering views of the water. The main floor has an open floor design great for family gatherings and entertaining. The house features a spacious kitchen, large dining area and comfortable living room. There are beautiful views of the 243 acre John's Pond from almost every window. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. If you prefer to grill, there is access to the gas grill on the patio outside the kitchen door. The laundry room on the main floor has a washer and dryer for your use. There is also a half bath on this level. The parking outside the kitchen door is convenient for bringing in groceries and luggage. The lower level has a game room with air hockey, a giant chalkboard and cable television for all to enjoy. Atrium doors provide walk out access to a large additional parking area. There is also a garage on the lower level. The farmers porch off the main floor overlooks the water providing spectacular evening Sunsets. Clean up after a day at the beach in a fully enclosed outdoor shower. The private association beach is across the way providing great entertainment for all with it's freshwater pond, sandy beach and picnic area. Beach passes provided for the renters.

This lovely Cape Cod property offers swimming and beaching onsite. The property is located minutes away from shopping, restaurants, salt water beaches, theater, biking, tennis, golf etc.

Beautiful home, right across from the water. Had a private wedding ceremony on the beach...our guests could not stop complimenting us on the house and water! Neighborhood was quiet and friendly also. We would recommend this home to anyone!

I recently spent a weekend at this home for a college reunion with 7 friends. The home is beautiful and the layout perfect for entertaining. Every room has charm and the place was spotless. Although the weather was quite cool, we really enjoyed the view overlooking the pond. Some of us went for a walk and the surroundings were just great. There is plenty to do in this area. Shopping, restaurants, etc. Everyone in this group enjoyed the weekend and would definitely return again. It would be great to come back during a warmer season to enjoy the beach and outdoors. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone...you won't be disappointed! The owner, Mary Kate, was very accommodating and very pleasant.
