From the stone wood-burning fireplace in the 2-story great room, open dining room, covered front porch, 2 rear porches overlooking a wooded grove, washer/dryer and modern kitchen you will surely enjoy this home-away-from-the hustle and bustle! Located in the 4-season Massanutten Resort, you can walk 1 block to a park with fishing, playing fields and a nature trail through the arboretum. The ski slopes, golf courses, horseback riding, hiking, convenience markets, restaurants and more are also right there. We?ve included everything from linens & towels to games, PC with internet connectivity, cable TV & firewood to make your stay in this beautiful Shenandoah resort easy and comfortable. Family friendly ? no smoking or pets please.

Great House

This property was a very clean and cozy little cabin for our recent trip to Massanutten. The things we loved: the beautiful fireplace, the location (out of all the traffic), very clean, lots of hooks for snow clothes, well stocked kitchen, linens provided, nice covered front porch and back porch with fenced in yard,nice oven/stove, nice washer and dryer and game system in loft. The things that we would change (but might not be a problem for others): No TV in living room where fireplace is, there is a small one in the dining area and and a large one in the loft area and if you have eight people there it is tight (only 6 seats at dinning room table and in living room and loft). It is a well taken care of perfect little cabin with no major drawbacks just wish it was a little bigger and it would be perfect but for a family of 4-6 it would be perfect.

JMU Graduation Weekend
May 12, 2012
We rented the cabin when our kids were graduating from JMU and it worked out great. The cabin had everything we needed including a huge grill for cooking. The river behind the house allowed the men to do some fishing and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We entertained some friends after the graduation and everyone loved the cabin. So much better than a hotel room for the weekend and the price was right. Only a 20 min. drive to JMU campus.
