"Mountain Oasis" boasts a dramatic prow front with a 26-foot cathedral ceiling and a second floor loft overlooking the open living area. After a day on the slopes or the golf course, you can relax by the stone fireplace or on the deck overlooking our mountain stream (seasonal)-- giving you a wooded setting right in the middle of Massanutten Resort.

"Mountain Oasis" promises you a pleasant time in the forest!

This home provides 2000 square feet, three bedrooms, two baths, and lots of open space. Located in the kettle of Massanutten Village, this home is right around the corner from the ski slopes, Miniature Golf, Go-Cart Track, and golf. You'll pass right by the NEW INDOOR WATER PARK on your way up to our home!

Perfect Spring Break Vacation

We enjoyed a week at Mountain Oasis. We had absolutely everything we needed, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were extremely well stocked. Everything was comfy and homey. The stream behind the house was a special treat (kids loved playing near and in the water!) We've been to Massanutten several times before, this was the best spot! Now we can't imagine staying anywhere else. House is very convenient to all the Massanutten activites (mini golf, go karts, new Nature Center at the ski lodge...) We'll definitely be back to the house, hopefully this Summer. Thanks!!

This is a nice, cozy home in a neighborhood within Massanutten. The home furnishings are out of date as is the decor. The kitchen is updated and the first floor bathroom is terrific. The view from the main room is great. The creek that runs past the back of the house is a great feature. All the basic amenities are provided. House nicely sleeps 8 with the two sets of bunk beds.

Wht a beautiful and well kept house for my 40th b'day wine tour with friends....the kids had a blast and we all loved the deck/stream. The owners were very easy to work with and we are likely to be going back!!!!!

Excellent Place for a Great family Reunion

The cabin is a perfect place for a group of 8-10 people. I stayed there for our family reunion which was 9 of us. We had a great time and enjoyed every bit of the cabin area. Excellent rooms, nice kitchen with all appliances working. Beautiful porch, High ceiling, and overall a quit place to spend your vacation at. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean and you are provided with extra bedding at no extra cost then the rent. Not many houses close by so you can stay awake as long as you want. a small stream flows by which is also very pleasant. One of the boring thing was that you have clean the full house before you leave, which took a lot of time.

Just got back from a last minute trip. Stayed two nights at the Chalet in the Forest and it was perfect. It was close to the things we wanted to do. All of the "extras" in the house made it hard not to want to cook. Sitting on the back deck listening to the stream was very relaxing!

My family spent the weekend at Massanutten, VA and we had a fabulous time. Found this vacation home on a website and was very easy to book. Would highly recommend this wonderful home and resort to anyone looking for a mountain getaway. Well stocked home with all the amenities you could ask for.
