Description of the Massanutten vacation home rental

The SunGrazer is a 3-year old 3,200 sq ft, 6 bedroom, 4 bath mountain home that sleeps 16 comfortably. Located in the Massanutten Four Seasons Resort in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, the house features 2 forty foot decks with slope, stream, and golf course views, 9 ft and cathedral ceilings, 2 family rooms, surround sound theater room with 50" HDTV, 2 fireplaces, and a garage and paved driveway. Ample parking next to the house or on the stret across from our home. Everything is provided at our home, all you need to do is show up. Smoking is allowed on decks.

There are 11 specially built bunk beds in our home. The bunks are 48" wide made to hold adults. All bunks are bolted to the walls so they can't tip.

There is a brand new, public, indoor/outdoor Water Park at the base of Massanutten Mountain -- largest on the East Coast. Three story water slides, games galore, restaurants, lockers, hot tubs, water rides, and much more. It takes a day to do everything offered. Also a brand new Go Kart course, putt-putt golf, ski slopes and summer tubing, and many more attractions. While our home is within the Massanutten Resort complex, we are not connected to the Resort and get so special breaks or access to Resort emenities. Everything that is open to the public is available to you. We cater to families that will respect our home and our neighbors. 10% discount for active duty military and repeat renters.

Go Kart course less than a mile from our home. Downstairs we have dedicated one room as a "kids room" with a small table/chairs, toys, etc. There is no place in this menu to indicate that we have 11 bunks in our home.

• Required Stay: 2night minimum- 3 nights on holiday weekends
   
• Deposits: A damage/reservation deposit of $395 is required for all rentals. This must be received within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within fourteen (14) days of departure provided the terms of our contract and house rules are met. 50% of the rental rate is required 60 days before arrival, the remainder within 14 days.
   
• Other Fees: There are no other fees or taxes. We offer a 10% active duty military and repeat renter discount. We operate on a strict first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not guaranteed until the deposit and signed contract and signed house rules are received. Holiday periods are Easter, JMU graduation, 4th July, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Holiday rates are $540/night or $3295 per week. Three night minimum stay over holidays.

The house was completely stocked and well kept. The views are amazing and it is only 3 minutes from the slopes. The owner is extremely helpful, humble, and efficient. This house was perfect for our group of 12!

The house was very practical and served the purpose of housing our large group quite comfortably. We were unable to get the surround sound working downstairs, so ask about it ahead of time if you want to use it. The gas fireplace downstairs also required a bit of hunting to find the gas valve to turn on gas, but once lit, it was great to have on as it got pretty cool in the basement. Beds were comfortable and all needed cookware was readily available! Great place for a great price! Owner very accommodating and helpful
