THIS IS A NO SMOKING HOME...INDOORS AND OUTDOORS.

Tucked into a wooded lot near a mountaintop is this private and semi-secluded home. Decorated by a naturalist, with subtle colors, prints of animals, and a few antiques this home is comfortable and charming.
Mountain Eagle Hideaway features a kitchen on both levels, two fireplaces, 2 dining areas, and a separate laundry room.
MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 13
Features: Upper Level: Enter from a screened-in porch to the living room with a massive brick fireplace, a piano and a full futon, dining area and a kitchen. This room opens to a wrap-around deck with built-in benches. The views are amazing.
Also on this level are 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Bedroom #1 has a double bed; bedroom #2 has 2 sets of twin bunk beds, a double bed and a twin bed.
Lower Level:Another living room with yet another massive brick fireplace, a full futon and family board games are on this level. The living room has a TV with a built-in DVD player. Dining area and kitchen are attached to the living room with doors to the outside where there is a charcoal grill. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed and an antique secretary (desk). There is a full bathroom on this level as well as a separate laundry room.

Whether you’re looking for that peaceful retreat conducive to kicking back with a good book and a quiet mountain walk or hike; or if you’re looking for that just perfect home to gather with friends and family…this is your rental. We have used this property twice now and experienced both of what is described above. Our memories are long and meaningful of the time we have spent in this beautiful mountain home. The perfect place to gather with family and friends whether celebrating a simple get together, or as we did, family weekends at James Madison University, and JMU graduation 2009. This property has it all, location, convenience, size and comfort surrounded by the wildlife and beauty of Massanutten Mountain. It’s also close to “fun” …golf, fishing and perhaps the largest water park you’ve ever seen all within minutes of your front door. Families and couples alike are seen enjoying all that this location has to offer. And to return at the end of the day to those
